Support is defined as follows: • Update installers (no base installers) • Core OS updates (may include patches, service packs, security updates, quality updates, cumulative updates, and hotfixes) • Stated versions, editions, and architecture only (Note: versions typically reflect the vendor's currently supported versions; patches for versions no longer supported by a vendor may still be available) IMPORTANT: ZENworks Patch Management patches only the operating systems that are officially supported as managed devices in your ZENworks release. The following table shows the patch support for managed device operating systems in the latest release of ZENworks. If you have an older version of ZENworks, this list might include operating systems that cannot be patched because they are not supported as managed devices in your ZENworks release. Items shaded in grey are legacy operating systems that are no longer supported by the original vendor on an ongoing basis, but previously-released patches may still be available in the ZENworks Patch Management content repository. Text in green represents additions to this report since its last release. If ZENworks Patch Management does not support the content you want, you can enter a request in the Ideas portal. Requests are evaluated on multiple criteria, including the general availability of the update from the vendor and the overall popularity of the application. Priority and implementation of a request is not guaranteed. • Windows 7 End of Life Is Coming: Don't Put Your
WINDOWS 7 END OF LIFE IS COMING: DON’T PUT YOUR BUSINESS AT RISK BY NOT MIGRATING INTRODUCTION After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide free security updates or support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008/ 2008 R2 operating systems (OS). This means there will be no more patches available and no more technical support from Microsoft’s support center. If you continue using Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008/R2 after that date, your systems will be at risk due to potential new vulnerabilities and cyber attacks, unless you plan on paying for Windows Extended Security Updates (ESU). With ESU support fees starting at 25~30€ per device and doubling each year after 2020, running Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008/R2 in your environment will quickly become very expensive. To avoid paying these high support costs and to enable successful migration, companies should begin planning for the inevitable upgrade to Windows 10. WHAT ARE THE MAJOR RISKS? Risk of Vulnerabilities and Cyberattacks In 2018, there were 499 Windows desktop OS vulnerabilities reported across Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows RT, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 10. Of these, 169 were considered critical vulnerabilities. During the same period, there were 449 Windows Server vulnerabilities, of which 136 were critical. While there was a slight drop in the number of Windows vulnerabilities from 2017 to 2018, over the past 6 years the number has nearly doubled.1 The infamous WannaCry ransomware attack, which infected over 200,000 computers worldwide in May 2017, was the result of an unpatched vulnerability that affected Windows OS.

  • Windows 8 Anpassen Mit Classic Shell: Fenster Statt Kacheln

  • Visual Chartform (VCF) Notes
Visual Chartform (VCF) Notes Douglas Hill 2008 As far as I know, most of these points are not covered in the TMG Users Guide, nor in Getting the Most Out of The Master Genealogist (GTMOOTMG). Controlling Which Spouses or Parents Appear on Descendant Charts The information in this section applies to Descendant charts with Chart Options > Chart Style > Orientation set to “Top to bottom”, and Chart Options > Lines > Descendant Connections set to “UK style”. In this style, couples appear side by side joined by a double line. This information also applies to spouses of descendants in the Hourglass Chart with Chart Style>Orientation of Ancestors set to “Top”. Primary events are normally marked with a “ * “ on the event tag. For marriage tags, you can mark any number of marriages (0, 1, 2, etc) as primary. The number of spouses of a given descendant which show on a chart depends on two factors, as illustrated in the Table: Factors Controlling Spouses on Charts Case # Marriage marked as Couple have known Spouse shows on primary? children? chart? 1 yes yes yes 2 yes no yes 3 no yes yes 4 no no no The table shows that the only time a spouse of a descendant is not shown on a chart is when the marriage is not marked as primary and the couple have no known children (case 4). [Terry Reigel also discussed “several ways to omit people who would otherwise appear in any ancestry report or chart in TMG” (Wholly Genes Community Forum post, 3 Jan 2005). His discussion of non-primary marriages didn’t make the distinction between cases 3 and 4 above.
