he Finstock News reaches Issue 100! On behalf of the Editorial Committee of the Finstock News, we wish to thank everyone who has supported the Finstock News since its inception in 2000. We will continue to be secular, non-political, and non-profit. TOver the coming months, we will print a few articles from our archives for new villagers. In support of the Local History Society’s scheduled talk for December on Finstock between 1939 and 1945, we are publishing the following abridged articles from 2002 and the article written by Mike Tooley about Finstock’s Home Guard on page 9.
