La cita era el domingo doce a las doce, y desde antes de esa hora y hasta bien entrada la noche, los amigos del popular distribuidor de cariño y poder, Concejal at-Large y aspirante a la Alcaldía de Lawrence, Marcos Devers, comenzaron a llegar al 118 de la Woodland donde reside con su esposa Vicky. Aunque es difícil calcular la cantidad de personas que asistió a la parrillada, por la foto que adorna este artículo podemos decir que había cantidad de gente. Tal vez debemos dejarlo al criterio de Mario Vancamper, encargado de la cocina, que dice que “habían más de mil”. Lo cierto es que todo el mundo pasó un buen rato y como ya esta parrillada se ha convertido en un evento anual, tendré que esperar hasta el año que viene si quiero comer un pedacito de lechón.
