Tea - Tea Culture is huge in Uzbekistan and there is a whole tradition behind how it is poured. The tradition states that tea has to be poured 3 times. The first pour called “Loy” which means “Mud”, followed by “Choy” which means “Tea” and the final pour is called “Moy” which means “Cream”, at which point tea is considered ready to be servered.

Tashkent City Wyndham Hotel Tashkent is the sprawling core of , where everything exciting in Uzbekistan is happening. Khiva City Erkin Palace Hotel You will take a flight to Urgench, the capital of Khorazm Province, situated between the river Amu, and Tashaoz. Once you arrive into Urgench you will take a drive to the historical city of KHIVA, while making a short detour to the village of Ulli Hovli, which translates to Grand Courtyard. Once in Khiva, you will be given the opportunity to freshen up from your travels and then continue with a sightseeing tour of Ichan Qala, which is an architectural wonder beautiful- ly restored to its almost original condition. Some of the other wonderful, ancient sites you will visit include: Madrasa Allakuli Khan - Built in 1834, financed by the Khiva Khanate Khan, it is the largest religious school.

Madrasa Muhammad Amin Khan - This is two story Madrasa built in 1851-1854

Kuhna Ark - Built in the 12 Century, it served as a fortress and residence for the Ruler of Khiva.

Kalta Minaret - The Minaret was the project of Mohammed Amin Khan. Pahlavon Mahmud Mausoleum - The tomb of the patron saint, Pahlavon Mahmud.

Islam Khoja Minaret - A UNESCO World Heritage Site

Juma Masjid - A structural marvel dating back to the 10 century, it is a row of 218 columns supporting the roof of the structure.

Amu Darya Ayaz-Kala Fortress After breakfast drive to Bukhara, a city as old as human records. You will pass through the beautiful Kyzylkum Desert on your way to Bukhara; as the winding road takes you a stone throw away from the Amu Darya, where you will stop for some scenic pictures. You will have lunch in a local chaykhana “teahouse” called “Sunnat’s” (220 km away from Khiva). Once you have had a chance to stretch your legs a little, the journey will continue to its final destination of Bukhara where you will arrive in the evening for your nightly rest.

Bukhara City Omar Khayyam The history of Bukhara goes back 2500 years with its inhabitants of Aryan period. The city had been the center of different Empires and favorite place of many Great Dynasties. That is why Bukhara history is so rich and full with important events. The ancient king Siavash who be- longed to mythical and legendary Pishdak Dynasty had chosen this location, right on the Great Silk Road and warm climate with enough water resources.

Labi Hauz - “Edge of a pond”, This is one of the most favorite place in Bukhara where local inhabitants exchange their thoughts while having drink and food during free time. The trip is not completed unless you visit Trade Domes and Ancient Silk Market which is walking dis- tance.

Magokki Attori mosque - the unique complex, built on the site of former Zoroastrian temple

Architectural complex Poi-Kalyan - which means «Foot of the Great», includes the following Kalyan mosque and Miri Arab madrassah, Ulugbeg and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs.

Ark fortress - the symbol of the state power. has been the fortified residence of city leaders for over a millennium.

Naqshbandiy Complex Omar Khayyam Continue your city tour of Bukhara Bolo Hauz Mosque - the most important mosque in the city. There was time when Emir of Bukhara himself performed prayers every Friday followed by thousands of Muslims. From very far Bolo Hauz mosque looks beautiful with its twenty columns of an unusual height. Poi-Kalon complex - Center for scholars and still have active madrassa for higher Islamic stud- ies. The minaret is full of decor with geometric, square and circle shape bricks. Ismail Samani - one of the oldest monuments in the world built for the founder of the Samanid dynasty, its delicate terracotta brickwork disguises 2m-thick walls that have never needed repair Chashma Ayub Mausoleum - spring of Prophet Ayub, in Bible called Job. The local people still believe that the spring water is healing. - known as madrasah Halif Niyazkul (in Persian “Four minarets”) was built by merchant in 1807. Naqshbandiy Complex - the tomb of the founder of the Sufi Order “Naqshbandia”. A spiritual teacher of Amir Temur, Naqshbandi made hajj to Mekka 32 times. Shahrisabz Dilimah Hotel After breakfast you will begin your road journey to Shakhrisabz. Shakhrisabz is a small, tra- ditional Uzbek town south of Samarkand, across the hills in the Kashkadarya province, and is a lovely drive from Samarkand with some spectacular views. This is Timur’s hometown, and once upon a time it probably put Samarkand itself in the shade. After breakfast you will be board a train to Samarkand and then drive to Shakhrisabz. Upon arrival to Shakhrisabz you will visit: Aksarai Palace -Ak-Saray was probably Timur’s most ambitious project – work began in 1380 and took some 24 years to complete. Dorut Tilovat complexes - Facing Kok-Gumbaz is Dorut Tilyovat, the original burial complex of Timur’s forebears. The mausoleum was completed by Timur in 1374. Dorus Siyadat - Timur finished the 3500-sq-metre mausoleum complex of the Dorus Siyadat in 1392 and at the time it may have overshadowed even the Ak-Saray Palace Mausoleum of Djekhangir - The focus of the Dorus Siyadat mausoleum complex is the tall Tomb of Jehangir, Timur’s eldest and favourite son, who died at 22. It’s also the resting place for another of Timur’s sons, Umar Sheikh.

Samarkand Dilimah Hotel No name is as reminiscent of the Silk Road as Samarkand (Samarqand). For most people it has the mythical resonance of Zanzibar or Timbuktu, fixed in the Western popular imagination by imaginative poets and playwrights, few of whom saw the city in the flesh. On the ground the sublime, larger-than-life monuments of Timur (Tamerlane) and the city’s long, rich history still work some kind of magic. You will visit most of Samarkand’s high-profile attractions.

Registan Square - The Registan, which translates to ‘Sandy Place’ in Tajik, was medieval Sa- markand’s commercial centre and the plaza was probably a wall-to-wall bazaar.

Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum - The beautiful portal and trademark fluted azure dome of the Gur-e- Amir Mausoleum marks the final resting place of Timur (Tamerlane), along with two sons and two grandsons (including Ulugbek)

Shah-i-Zinda - Samarkand’s most moving and beloved site is this stunning avenue of mausole- ums, which contains some of the richest tilework in the Muslim world. The name, which means ‘Tomb of the Living King’, refers to its original, innermost and holiest shrine Qusam ibn-Abbas, who is said to have brought Islam to this area in the 7th century.

Bibi Khanyum Mosque - Once one of the Islamic world’s biggest mosques, it pushed contem- porary (14th century) construction techniques to the limit, so much so that the dome started crumbling even before construction had finished.

Samarkand Dilimah Hotel Sher Dor Medressa - This ornate 17th-century madrassa at the Registan is covered in tile, including tiger mosaics.

Ulugbek Observatory - The Ulugbek Medressa, on the western side of the Registan, is the square’s original medressa, finished in 1420 under Ulugbek who is said to have taught mathe- matics here (the stars on the portal reflect Ulugbek’s love of astronomy).

Afrosiab Museum - The Afrosiab Museum was built around one of Samarkand’s more im- portant archaeological finds, a chipped 7th-century fresco of the Sogdian King Varkhuman (r 650–670) receiving ranks of foreign dignitaries (including Chinese envoys carrying silk), while sitting astride elephants, camels and horses. You’ll see reproductions of this iconic fresco throughout the country. It was only discovered in 1965 during the construction of Tashkent

Navoi Theater Wyndham Hotel After the breakfast in samarkand you willl take the train to Tashkent. Upon arrival in Tashkent, you will transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. Then visit some of the sites of Tashkent.

Navoi Theater Square - The Navoi Theater is the national Opera Theater, built by the Japa- nese and Korean POWs.

Metro stations - It was completely forbidden to photograph Tashkents Metro System for de- cades, but now after political and economic reforms in the late 2018s the ban was lifted. View one of the most beautiful meetro systems ever constructed.

Special Events: Exclusive Cremaic Workshop - Tashkent In the workshop you will witness firsthand how these unique ceramic products are created, from being molded by hand in clay to the end where they are baked in fire. You will also get the chance to work with these materials and create your own unique ceramic wonder. Close to the workshop there is also an exhibition hall, filled with a great number of artifacts dating back to the 18-19th centuries.

Shivit Oshi - Khiva Khiva sets itself apart from the rest of Uzbekistan with regards to its culinary offerings. Authentic dishes from Khiva have a lot more fresh herbs and vegetables in their ingredients list. Shivit Oshi, is a local pasta that is infused with fresh dill which gives it a green hue. ` This noteworthy dish is a must try when you are in Khiva. Plov Cooking - Bukhara While in Bukhara, you will have the opportunity to not only watch but also participate in the traditional cooking of Uzbek Plov.
