Musical Director Michael Young The Last Five Years is a musical written by Jason Robert Brown. It tells the story of the five-year relationship of Cathy Hiatt (Sarah Corcoran) and Jamie Wellerstein (Brian Roche) in New York City. Cathy is a struggling actress and Jamie is a rising novelist. The West Ocean String Quartet (WOSQ) marks its twentieth anniversary in 2020 with an innovative recording project which celebrates the traditional music of Ireland’s Atlantic coast, echoing the quartet’s title.
