WEST SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF ELECTION ELECTION OF COUNTY COUNCILLORS
1. Elections are to be held for ONE County Councillor to represent each of the following electoral divisions within the Mid Sussex District:
Electoral Division Wards or Parishes BURGESS HILL TOWN Parish wards of Burgess Hill Dunstall, Leylands and Meeds North BURGESS HILL EAST Parish wards of Burgess Hill Franklands, Meeds South and St Andrews CUCKFIELD & LUCASTES District wards of Cuckfield and Haywards Heath Lucastes EAST GRINSTEAD MERIDIAN Parish wards of East Grinstead Ashplats, Baldwins and Town North EAST GRINSTEAD SOUTH & Parish of Ashurst Wood, and parish wards of East Grinstead Herontye, ASHURST WOOD Town South and Worsted HASSOCKS & VICTORIA District wards of Burgess Hill Victoria and Hassocks HAYWARDS HEATH EAST District wards of Haywards Heath Bentswood and Haywards Heath Franklands HAYWARDS HEATH TOWN District wards of Haywards Heath Ashenground and Haywards Heath Heath HURSTPIERPOINT & BOLNEY District wards of Bolney and Hurstpierpoint & Downs IMBERDOWN Parish wards of East Grinstead Baldwins and Imberhorne, and Worth Crawley Down LINDFIELD & HIGH WEALD District wards of High Weald and Lindfield WORTH FOREST Parishes of Ardingly, Balcombe, Slaugham, Turners Hill and the Parish ward of Worth Copthorne & Worth
2. Nomination Papers and other documents may be obtained from the Elections Office, Mid Sussex District Council, Oaklands, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1SS (Telephone: 01444 477003).
3. Completed Nomination Papers and Candidates’ Consent to Nomination may be delivered to the Main Reception at Mid Sussex District Council, Oaklands, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1SS on any working day after the date of this notice, but not later than 12.00noon on FRIDAY, 5 APRIL 2013.
4. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 2 May 2013 from 7.00am to 10.00pm
5. Applications to register to vote or to vote by post or proxy should be made to Tom Clark, Electoral Registration Officer at Mid Sussex District Council, Oaklands, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1SS based on the deadlines set out below:

6. The main issue of postal votes will commence on Thursday, 18 April 2013.
