Christ Chapel Summer Camp 2021

June 14 – August 13, – 6TH GRADE

Welcome to Christ Chapel Academy’s Summer Camp 2021! Our theme this year is There are a wide variety of activities planned for your child this summer. Our plan is to schedule activities and field trips taking social distancing as allowed by the CDC. We will adjust any activities and mask mandates as restrictions change by the CDC.

In addition to swimming and other off-campus field trips, there are plenty of outdoor activity, daily worship time, computer class, indoor computer, stem, art, and physical activity in the gym.

Lunch is included with weekly summer camp registration. Bag lunches are prepared for field trip days. Lunch menus are posted at christchapelacademy.org under the Summer Camp tab on the home page.

There are a few basic requirements for summer camp. We appreciate your help with this so that camp will be fun for all. Labeling personal items will help identify each child’s items and cut down on replacement costs (especially camp shirts). Sunscreen MUST be applied before a child comes to summer camp. Summer camp workers are not permitted to apply sunscreen on the children.

Bring with you: • WATER BOTTLE • A backpack to store items. Please no roller backpacks. • Change of clothes (stored in a zip lock bag) • An open mind and good attitude Wear: • Closed toed, rubber soled shoes. No open toe, backless shoes, or flip flops. Our feet need to be properly covered for outdoor activity that we have. Flip flops are permitted for pool only, pack tennis shoes for before and after pool activities. • T-shirts must have sleeves, no spaghetti straps, tank tops or halter tops. • Short length is to be a modest length, at least to the fingertips. • One-piece bathing suits are required for pool time.

Electronics: • Christ Chapel Academy is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken devices. Electronics are not used during camp time unless during scheduled Electronic Device Activity (LABEL ALL ITEMS). • Cell phones need to be left in the child’s bag. • Cell phones are for emergency purposes only.
