Basic Guidelines for GRAMMAR Students

● Dress should be neat – Clothes should be clean, properly sized, and free from holes, tears, and stains. ​ Missing buttons should be promptly replaced, shirts should be tucked in, and shoes tied. 1. Hair - Hairstyles are to be conservative, neatly groomed, with hair out of face and eyes, no ​ unnatural hair color, no long spikes, and head not shaved. 2. Hats - Hats should not be worn while in school buildings except with permission for special days ​ or events.

● Dress should be modest – Skirts, skorts, and shorts should touch the knee. Outlandish or distracting ​ clothing or appearance is not allowed. Modesty shorts are to be worn under all skirts. 1. Undergarments - All undergarments (including modesty shorts) must not be visible. ​

● Cold Weather Consideration – If cold weather is projected for a Required Dress day, girls may wear ​ uniform pants in place of the chapel skirt. Cold weather is considered 45 degrees or below at 8:00 a.m. (www.weather.com for zip code 78633)

● Grace Logo – All uniform shirts and official Grace outerwear (ie. hoodies and sweaters) are required to ​ have the Grace Academy logo. The logo is available online from Lands’ End (www.landsend.com) as ​ ​ well as Bell Embroidery at 3803 Williams Drive in Georgetown.
