Possible coordinated actions of the three Baltic States to build back better .................. 16 This review is a joint work of Foresight Centre of Parliament of Estonian, LV PEAK of the University of Latvia and Government Strategic Analysis Center (STRATA) of Lithuania. The review was finalized in October 2020. 2 Introduction and aims The COVID-19 crisis has been a true black swan – an unexpected event that is having enormous consequences on virtually every aspect of our daily life. Next to the 1918 flu pandemic that occurred in a very differenc socio-economic context, there are no historical parallels close to the current crisis, which makes forecasting and future prediction a tough task. Due to the global scale of the crisis, the collaboration and joint efforts are at the heart of solutions to the COVID-19 situation. Close cooperation is especially important in the Baltic region with highly interconnected economies and societies. This paper aims to provide a comparative picture of the effects of the crisis and describe the key factors and uncertainties affecting the recovery. Despite the sharp recession, there are also some opportunities arising from the situation, which are discussed in the third section of the paper. -

Negative trends associated with the media sphere in previous years persist, such as the media’s low level of professionalism, poor protection and conditions for journalists, a weak and oversaturated media market, an unsustainable public media service, a fragmented media scene, and political influence. BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA 16 EUROPE & EURASIA MEDIA SUSTAINABILITY INDEX 2014 introduction OVERALL SCORE: 2.04 BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) did not show signs of political or economic stabilization in 2013. The governing political parties avoided focusing on substantive reforms and implementing international standards. In April, Ba new political party launched—the Democratic Front, led by Željko Komšić, the Croat member of the B&H tripartite presidency. In the same month, the president of the Federation of B&H, Živko Budimir, was arrested on the accusation of taking bribes to approve amnesties but was released in May due to lack of evidence. In June 2013, public protests in front of Sarajevo’s parliament building and in other cities in B&H highlighted the lack of regulation of citizen IDs for newborns. The citizen initiative across B&H, although holding a promise of revolutionary change, ended as an unsuccessful bid to change politicians’ corruption, inequality, and incompetence. Finally, at the beginning of November, the B&H House of Peoples, in an emergency session and without debate, adopted the proposed amendments and changes to the law on ID numbers. The fact that the protests were organized through online platforms and social media illustrated new media’s growing influence in socially mobilizing the country. However, Serb and Croat parliamentarians framed the protests as an ethnically driven threat to their security and refused to attend parliamentary sessions for several weeks. -

Countries entry instructions 1- MIDDLE EAST: No. Country Instructions & Restrictions 1 EGYPT Till 30/06/2020, All international flights to / from Egypt are suspended Health Regulations to enter Egypt: Passengers should wear face masks during the flight. A Health Declaration form should be available on all the international flights. A Health Declaration form should be filled by the Passengers before boarding the flight (at the departure airport) and to be delivered to The Quarantine Authorities upon arrival. Airline must provide the Health Declaration form at the departure airports and insure that the passengers have filled and signed it before boarding the flight (on the international flights) Passengers travelling to Egypt should be screened at the airport of departure. Passengers who are suffering from a temperature (Equal / above) 38C or those who are suffering from one of the respiratory symptoms (cough / sneezing / shortness of breath …etc.) are not allowed to board the aircraft. Aircraft disinfection form should be delivered to The Quarantine Authorities upon arrival for the international flights. The disinfection of the Aircraft and the disinfection of aircraft air conditions filters should be done according to WHO guidelines and the aircraft manufacturer, Aircraft will not be allowed to take off again till obtaining a sanitary quarantine approval from the Egyptian Quarantine Authorities. In case of any of the respiratory symptoms appear on a passenger during the flight, all necessary precautions must be taken if possible by (separate the suspected passenger in an area far from the rest of the passengers / assign one of the cabin crew members to serve the sick passenger / provide a bathroom for the sick passenger only). -

Abstract: The emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in the beginning of 2020 led to the deployment of enormous amounts of resources by different countries for vaccine development, and the Russian Federation was the first country in the world to approve a COVID-19 vaccine on 11 August 2020. In our research we sought to crystallize why the rollout of Sputnik V has been relatively slow considering that it was the first COVID-19 vaccine approved in the world. We looked at production capacity, at the number of vaccine doses domestically administered and internationally exported, and at vaccine hesitancy levels.
