June 10, 2021 Toshiba Corporation FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Notice Regarding the Receipt of the Investigation Report from the Persons Who Will be Charged to Investigate the Status of the Operations and Property of the Stock Company as set forth in Article 316, Paragraph 2 of the Companies Act As announced in the March 18, 2021 release titled “Notice Regarding the Results of the Resolutions of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders”, at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on March 18, 2021, Mr. Yoji Maeda, Mr. Takashi Kisaki, and Mr. Takao Nakamura (the “Investigators”) were elected as persons to investigate the status of the operations and property of the Stock Company as set forth in Article 316, Paragraph 2 of the Companies Act for the purpose of investigating all matters deemed necessary by the Investigators concerning whether or not the 181st Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on July 31, 2020 was conducted in a fair and impartial manner (including whether or not the resolutions were legally and fairly passed), and the investigation by the Investigators have been conducted. Toshiba Corporation (“Toshiba”) announces that today it received the investigation report from the Investigators and disclose the investigation report as attached in response to the request by the investigators.
