I am writing to endorse the written representations made by the following Interested Parties in relation to the “North Wales Wind Farms Connections” National Infrastructure Planning Examination. The application is to construct pylons to connect wind farms on Moor to the grid at . Much of the route is in my constituency of the Vale of . Many of the objections, which I have summarised below, centre on adverse visual impact and effects on the historic environment, tourism, business and property. The area is particularly sensitive in terms of the landscape and both County Council and Conwy County Council have passed motions requesting undergrounding of the cables.
