In conjunction with ecologists and archaeologists, the walls were carefully dismantled and reinstated in their original condition. The measures have provided a haven for wildlife and a much improved aesthetic to the area. Turkey’s natural gas consumption increased by 52.5% in 10 years and effective storage of gas is crucial for sustainability and to regulate the supply-demand imbalance caused by unpredictable fluctuations. Storage plant, during low consumption periods, withdraws the excess gas from the network and injects into the salt caverns. Conversely, during high consumption/demand period, it withdraws the gas stored in salt caverns and gives back to the network – providing the stability and sustainability required. Despite five of the 10 tenants being restaurants, there was no food-waste recycling and this, along with many other initiatives, has seen them reduce overall waste while massively boosting recycling rates. The restaurants now also use vegware plates, cups and cutlery which goes into the food recycling, helping achieve their 35% reduction. Sep. 2021 International Journal of Communication 10(2016), 5233–5251 1932–8036/20160005 In the Time of the Microcelebrity: Celebrification and the YouTuber Zoella ANNE JERSLEV University of Copenhagen, Denmark This article discusses the temporal changes in celebrity culture occasioned by the dissemination of digital media, social network sites, and video-sharing platforms, arguing that, in contemporary celebrity culture, different temporalities are connected to the performance of celebrity in different media: a temporality of plenty, of permanent updating related to digital media celebrity; and a temporality of scarcity distinctive of large-scale international film and television celebrities. The article takes issue with the term celebrification and suggests that celebrification on social media platforms works along a temporality of permanent updating, of immediacy and authenticity. Taking UK YouTube vlogger and microcelebrity Zoella as the analytical case, the article points out that microcelebrity strategies are especially connected with the display of accessibility, presence, and intimacy online; moreover, the broadening of processes of celebrification beyond YouTube may put pressure on microcelebrities’ claim to authenticity. ABSTRACT: An attempt is made, in this paper to highlight the lack of legal attention in addressing governance of Commons in India. Management of gairan (=grazing land), in Pune District, is identified for case study, to amplify the point. The study is a combination of empirical and doctrinal research.     M A R K E T B E AT PUNE Retail Q1 2020 Apparel & Electronic segments drive Q1 leasing The city continued to witness a healthy amount of main street leasing activity, mainly concentrated in peripheral locations like Pimple Saudagar, Katraj & Hinjewadi, driven by the apparel, electronics & hypermarket segments. The quarter also saw domestic retailers in the F&B, electronics and apparel segments actively exploring opportunities in emerging residential catchments like Wagholi, Chikhali, Moshi, Ambegaon, Undri etc. 7.5% MALL VACANCY (Q1 2020) Key transactions concluded during the quarter were Reliance Trends & Reliance Smart at Pimple Saudagar & Croma at Katraj. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, the Global Highstreet Mall which was anticipated to be operational during the first quarter has got deferred to the second half of the year. The overall mall vacancy was stable at 7.5%, on account of limited leasing activity in retail malls. Rentals across key malls and main streets MALL INVENTORY (Q1 2020) 7.1 msf remained range-bound during the quarter. F&B retailers continue to remain cautious on expansion UPCOMING SUPPLY TILL 2022 1.4 msf Over the last few quarters, the F&B retailers have continued to remain cautious with their expansion plans in Pune. The QSR formats have restricted their focus on select commercial locations like Hinjewadi, Kharadi, Yerwada etc, while the fine-dine restaurants continue to focus on residential catchments like Pimple Saudagar, Wakad, Aundh, Baner, Balewadi etc. Key transactions in the F&B segment concluded during the quarter include Yana Sizzlers at FC Road. In the current lockdown situation and an evolving scenario, we expect demand for F&B segment to be the most impacted over the next few quarters, as consumers are likely to avoid travel and crowded places in the post-lockdown days in initial days.
