FOOD FOR THOUGHT……By Deacon Hicks

Last Sunday we looked at what a SYMBOL is and means as we looked at the word bread.

This Sunday I wish to expand upon this aspect of what is unseen to what is seen, from the bread to consecration and what the true end result is, whether we perceive it with our eyes or heart, and what does happen each time. We are allowed to, from time to time, see physically what occurs from God’s supernatural realm into the natural realm in which we live with our bodies, and the image and likeness of God with which we are created.

The parish of Mary in has been the protagonist of three Eucharistic Miracles that occurred in 1992, 1994 and 1996. Professor Ricardo Castanon Gomez was called by the then of Buenos Aires to investigate the matter.

Below is documentation of the incident which occurred, and the condensed report presented by the group from the Vatican. These pages are from “The Real Presence” tour that we happened upon as Carolyn and I were visiting the parish we were married in.

(Please read the next few pages.)

After your reading, ponder the following: So, do you perhaps have a better understanding of what a SYMBOL is, at least from the Divine prospective? The word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

I again leave you here to chew on some more SYMBOLISM, from the bread of Heaven. Yours in Christ, Deacon Hicks

P.S.: Did anyone notice who was the Archbishop of Buenos Aires??? If not, re-read the first page. Do you remember what was going on in your life during that time frame?
