Over the years, athletes that have appeared in our statistics book have gone on to become world champions, Olympians, and leaders of the sports movement. I hope you find this latest edition most useful. The Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade, held this year, once again demonstrated the true values of FISU. Teamwork, integrity, innovation and excellence, encompassed by a joy of sport. Over 11 days of world class sporting action, we saw the emergence of sports stars, of role models, and of future leaders. These leaders are not just the athletes, but the officials, staff and volunteers that came together to celebrate university sport. It is not an easy job to compile these statistics. In fact, many hours of hard work and research goes into the meticulous compilation of data. I would like to thank the entire team who helped to put this invaluable publication together. FISU WINTER WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES UNIVERSITY FISU WINTER WORLD I hope that it will assist you in your work.
