Czech Armed Forces, Military Police and the Castle Guard KEY MISSIONS IN 2017 1. Strengthen and develop capabilities and comprehensive readiness to meet mandatory duties in the territory of the Czech Republic and collective defence missions. 2. Provide and deploy assigned forces and assets for operations, foreign missions and standby readiness forces according to the authorised mandate. 3. Ensure defence of the Czech Republic’s airspace and critical defence infrastructure as part of NATINAMDS and the national air defence system. 4. Develop the capabilities of the Active Reserve Component and start building new reserve units in the Czech Armed Forces, Military Police and the Castle Guard. CZECH 5.
