Project name : Multimedia Engine Duration /size : Dec 2007 to till date: Team size: 10 Organization : Motorola Electronics, Bangalore Environment : C, Embedded Mobile as a Developer Description : MME, Multimedia Engine was a Critical Sector in mobile domain. It makes the mobile multimedia capable. I was into ‘Multimedia Playback’ which deals the playback of media files from local storage. Our Primary area is get the files (in different formats) from application then parse it and supply to DSP in terms of chunks. Then later the Decoded samples we will render it in Video LCD or send to Audio manager. Then main file formats supported by us are asf, amr, mp3, mp4, wma, wmv, real formats, Neomtel (vis files), SVG formats, wave and iMelody etc Hardware used: TI Neptune, Emerald IPU, Emarld GPU, Coarsica etc Tools used: PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE in IBM INDIA Pvt Ltd: Project 2

Project name : INSOS Client : TELSTRA (Australian Telecom Company) Duration /size : Aug ’06 to till date: Team size: 2 Organization : IBM India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore Environment : Oracle Database 8i, UNIX, C, Oracle Forms Description : Intelligent Network Service Ordering System was a work flow engine that provisions and activates the International FreeCall and Call plan mobile services. INSOS is the user interface to create and maintain the setup of numbers on the SCANTS platform . Our database is Oracle 9i. Interlink language is PLSQL. And we have our on Daemon for 24 hour automatic updating, which is written in Pro*C. And the Automation is set up in Unix platform. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN PHILIPS SOFTWARE CENTRE: Project 3:

Project Name : Performance Analysis of Linux application stacks on Multimedia Organisation : Philips consumer electronics (internal) Duration/Size : (Nov 2005 – July 2006 Team Size: 1) Role : Designer, developer and tester

Environment : Linux 2.4 kernel, C language Description : This project aims to profile the performance of a embedded UI application, JUICE (Joint User Interface and User Interface), which is used as a UI engine in TV like systems, while running on Linux OS. The Huge software stack is evaluated by some profiling tools then analyzed for the optimization. We characterized the software on both MIPS platform and X86 platform. We also created a new tool set which will produce a colored functional call graph plot of the software stack. According to the complexity of the analyzed parameters(time, no of calls etc) given the tool will color the function nodes of the graph to green, yellow, orange, red etc such that the bottleneck identification will be easier. Also published the work as a paper in a conference. www.actapress.com/PDFViewer.aspx?paperId=28900. Project 4:

Project: Design and Implementation of a new CPU scheduling algorithm (Burst scheduler) in Linux OS, Organisation: Govt Engg College, Thrissur Environment: Linux 2.2 kernel, C language Description: This project is a design and implementation of new CPU scheduling algorithm in Linux. We customized the existing scheduler. We designed a new algorithm for scheduling then implemented it in place of existing scheduler. We tested the performance of the new scheduler and made compare with existing one . We also wrote some system calls which are necessary for the implementation and customization of new scheduler. Project is implemented using C in Linux OS kernel version 2.2. Responsibilities:  Design/development of a new algorithm for process scheduling  Understanding of Linux 2.2 kernel AWARDS/RECOGNITION

 Obtained AIX & Oracle 9i SQL certifications  Received a BRAVO award from IBM for the work excellence  Secured class first in B.Tech.  Secured 91.93 Percentile in GATE -2003. DECLARATION:
