ACTIVITIES OF KVK MALYAL DURING OCTOBER, 2018

 Swachta Hi Sewa programme from 15th September to 2nd October, 2018: Conducting “Swachta Hi Sewa” programmes from 15th September to 2nd October, 2018. The activities carried out are cleaning of KVK campus, Office Buildings, Staff Quarters, village roads, awareness among school children and villagers about cleanliness of environment and personal hygiene and clean drinking water, preparation of vermicompost, use of waste decomposing, etc.

Awareness programme on cleanliness, health and hygiene to villagers of Vinobanagar

 Conducted “Mahila Kisan Diwas” programmes on 15th October, 2018 at KVK, Malyal. 47 No.of Women farmers and School Children participated in this programme. During this programme KVK, Malyal conducted essay writing competition to the school children on "Role of Women in Agriculture" and given prizes to the winners and also felicitated two women farmers from Gouraram and Malyal villages.

 Conducted 3 days Training Programme on “Community tank management for enhancing fish production” from 23th to 25th October 2018 to the fish farmers/ fishermen with the financial assistance of NFDB, . On the day of inauguration of the programme, Sri D. David, Joint Collector of district attended the programme and participated as Chief Guest, Dr. Anjanjaneya Swamy, DFO, Mahabubabad chaired the programme and gave lecture on “Fish production technology” and Sri G. Balaji, R.A. (Fisheries), KVK, Mamnur participated as resource person on the same day and gave guest lecture through Powerpoint Presentation. On 24th October, 2018 an Exposure Visit to the trainees was organized to FRS, Palair to show latest technologies and demonstration units in fish culture. On 25th, October, 2018, Sri B. Lava Kumar, SMS (Fisheries), KVK, Gaddipalli participated as resource person and delivered lecture on “Feed distribution methods, Fish netting methods & Community tank harvesting and handling of fish (post harvest technology), marketing and transporting” and Sri D. Narshivudu, R.A. (Fisheries), KVK, Kampasagar participated as resource peron and delivered lecture on “Disease management in Freshwater fishes” to the Fishermen/ Fish farmers. Further, valedictory of the programme conducted and distributed Certificates to the trainee participants, recorded feedback about the programme from the trainees.

 Conducted 3 days Training Programme on “Community tank management for enhancing fish production” from 29th to 31st October 2018 to the fish farmers/ fishermen with the financial assistance of NFDB, Hyderabad. On the day of inauguration of the programme, Sri K. Suryanarayana, DHSO, Mahabubabad district participated in the programme as Chief Guest, Smt. A. Sarala Kumari, PC i/c chaired the programme and explained about the programme and Sri S. Bhaskar, Fisheries Field Officer, Mahabubabad, Sri D. Narshivudu, R.A.(Fisheries), KVK, Kampasagar participated as resource persons. On 30th October, 2018 an Exposure Visit was conducted for the trainees to FRS, Palair to show latest technologies and demonstration units in fish culture. On 31st, October, 2018, Sri Mahesh, Technical Advisor, Aqua One Centre, Hyderabad and Sri G. Balaji, R.A.(Fisheries), KVK, Mamnur participated as resource person and delivered lecture The post evaluation test conducted and received feedback about the training from the trainee participants on 31st October, 2018.

 Conducted 3 days Skill Training Programme on "Honey Bee rearing" during 1st to 3rd November 2018 at KVK, Malyal. During inaugural session, Sri CH. Shivalingaiah, District Collector & Magistrate, Mahabubabad attended the programme and participated as Chief Guest and Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy, Associate Director of Research, CTZ, RARS, Chaired the programme, Sri Ravi Kumar participated as resource person and gave lecture on Honey Bee rearing. Further, on 1st & 2nd November, 2018 class room lectures carried out by Sri Ravi Kumar, Enterpreneur, Vijayawada on Honey Bee rearing and on 3rd November, 2018, Sri Pydi Ravindra Kumar from NIRD, Hyderabad participated as resource person and delivered lecture to the trainee farmers and 47 number of farmers from different villages participated in the programme actively.
