(Segment as a Unit) INTRA - Bulk water will be distributed through Intra-village distribution network up to house holds (District as a Unit) Optical fiber cable also laid along with the pipeline network for each and every house hold Total State divided as 26 segments for work execution convenience, in which Palair Warangal segment is one such segment to cover 1706+79 habitations in Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural, Jayashankar Bhupapally and Khammam Districts. Water in all Irrigation sources reserved for Mission Bhagiratha Drinking Water. Due to incomplete distribution network of ULB from the sump, the ULB authorities not utilizing the bulk water from 3500 KL sump. Instead, the ULB authorities drawing water directly through the Grid main pipelines. Direct Connections provided at Etigaddathanda (4528 LPM), at Babagutta (2190 LPM), at Salar Thanda (80 KLD), at Agriculture Market (102 KLD), at Yashodha Gardens (425 KLD), at Giriprasad nagar Colony (440 KLD), at Hasinapur Colony (79 KLD) and at Ambetkar Colony (60 KLD) Demand give by ULB authorities : 2018 – 9.4 MLD, 2033 – 12.65 MLD, 2048 – 17.02 MLD Current Supply : 9.60 MLD Merged Habitations 35 Habitations Merged with Mahabubabad ULB having population 16670 (2011 census) and resulting urban demand 1.89 MLD (2020) Current supply to merged habitations : 1.89 MLD Contd….. Operation & Maintenance of the Scheme Conducting, Constituency wise Awareness programs with all the public representatives for the effective usage of Mission Bhagiratha water. So far, the awareness program for Palakurthy Constituency completed. Bulk supply connections to Residential Schools, which are having water storage facilities are under progress. As on date bulk supply connections given to 78 Residential Schools out of total 80 No.s. Hon’ble Minister of PR&RD and RWS visit to the 170 MLD Water treatment plant at abbaipalem during the Awareness program Dec 2019 conducted for Public representatives and local bodies staff of Palakurthy Constituency THANK YOU.
