 Nearly in 43% of Primary Schools the enrollment is below 20.

 146 zero enrollment schools are identified in the District during the Academic year 2019-2020.

 Lack of foundational literacy and numeracy among the 50% of students at Primary level (ASER report).

 Drop out rates at Primary level and Secondary level in the district are higher than the State average.

 Poor teaching capabilities of teachers in transacting English Medium sections at Primary level.

 Average attendance of children from class I to X is around only 84% (T- Hazaru).

 Lack of hands on experience to students in learning of science at UP and High School level.

 Frequent ill health of students especially at Primary level during the months from June to September is badly effecting the attendance and quality of education.

 Disfunctioning of computer labs in 67 High schools and 46 CAL schools, due to outdated hardware and software.

 Due to shifting of Anganwadi centres in to Government Primary schools causing accommodation problem and affecting teaching learning processes in Primary schools.( 243 Primary schools are affected).

 Multi-grade teaching in Primary schools effecting the quality of education in single teacher and double teachers schools.

 In Municipal areas School Management Committees are not actively functioning.

10 . Conducted Prof. Jayashankar Badibata (Enrollment drive) in the month of June 2019.

. Distributed free NT books and two pairs of Uniforms to all children of classes I to X.

. Monitoring of schools and reviews with teachers and school leaders.

. Transportation allowance and Escort allowance to the identified needy Children.

. Engaged (04) Physiotherapists to support profound CWSN .

. To support CWSN studying in schools, 23 IERPs are engaged.

. To overcome the Teacher deficit (260) trained Vidya Volunteers are engaged during the Academic year 2019-20.

. Conducted trainings (NISHTHA) to 2879 teachers for capacity building in curricular and Co-curricular areas.

. ABC programme (3R’s) is being implemented in all PS and High schools (Class I to VIII).

. Observed August month as Haazar Maasotsavam and September month as Achievement of Competencies.

. Distributed 18,000 dictionaries to all High schools students.

. Kitchen gardens are being raised in all UP and High schools to add value to MDM programme.

. To improve the pass percentage in class X, Special action plan has been prepared and supply to all High schools for implementation.

. Conducted science Exhibitions in November 2019 to inculcate scientific temper among the Teachers and Students.

. Implementation of Continues Comprehensive Evaluation in all schools from classes I – X (RTE Act 2009) .

. Conducted Haritha haram in all Government and Local body schools.

. Conducted dewarming day and health check to all school going Children in collaboration with District Medical and Health department. The programme is in process.

. 953 No of Scavengers engaged in all PS, UPS, HS to maitain better sanitations Condition.

11  Special Enrollment Drives to improve enrollment in Government and Local body schools in the District at least by 10% in the Academic year 2020-2021.

 Distribution of free Textbooks to all the students in Government and Local body schools on the First day of instruction for the academic year 2020-2021.

 Ensure 90% of attendance of Teachers and Students through implementation of ABAS, T-Haazaru and active participation of School Management Committees.

 Sensitization of parents and community to minimize the drop out rates at Primary and Secondary level.

 Periodical Orientations to all teachers to transact English Medium classes effectively.

 Measuring Learning Outcomes in regular intervals through School based assessment (FA and SA).

 Readiness programme for Class I students for first two months.

 Opening of English Medium sections in all Primary schools.

 Ensuring functional science labs in all UP and High schools.

 Making the computer labs functional by updating the Software and Hardware to impart Computer education to the Students.

 Working closely with Health Department and other line departments for better functioning of schools.

 Immunization programme to all school going children.

 Intensifying monitoring and supervision of schools to support teachers and school heads in teaching learning processes and school administration.

12  Conducting INSPIRE and Science Fairs.

 Increased focus on foundational literacy and numeracy in classes I to V.

 Overcoming Access gaps through providing transport and escort facility.

 Timely engagement of para teachers to overcome teacher deficit.

 Commencing URS for OSC.

 Concentrating in higher order thinking skills like Creativity, Problem solving, Communication and Critical thinking in centers of excellence like TS Model Schools, Gurukulas and Ekalavya schools (To face NMMS and NTSE).

 Digital classes through K-Yans in all High schools.

13 PROGRAMS Samagra Shiksha - an overarching programme for the school education sector extending from pre-school to class 12 has been, therefore, prepared with the broader goal of improving school effectiveness measured in terms of equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes. It subsumes the three erstwhile Schemes of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE).

This sector-wide development programme/scheme would also help harmonies the implementation mechanisms and transaction costs at all levels, particularly in using state, district and sub-district level systems and resources, besides envisaging one comprehensive strategic plan for development of school education at the district level. The shift in the focus is from project objectives to improving systems level performance and schooling outcomes which will be the emphasis of the combined Scheme along-with incentivizing States towards improving quality of education ( Samagra Shiksha web site) The program is being implemented from 2018-2019

 Kumari. Anjali of class IX from ZPHS Kambalapally has won the Indian Science Congress Association - INFOSYS travel award.

 First prize in drawing competition to B. Sai Kumar of class VIII from ZPHS Haripirala at state level Drawing Competitions organized by ONGC.

 Pagidipala Hanuma got State first prize in elocution competition held at Hyderabad and felicitated by honourable Governer of Telangana , On the occasion of National voter's day celebrations.

 Mid day meal Program is being implemented in 960 schools (Primary , Upper Primary and High schools) covering 51,007 students.  Primary students will be provided 100 grms of rice and Upper and High schools students will be provided 150 grms of rice everyday.  Menu prepared at State level by the experts sent to all schools for strict implementation.  Cooking cost to the mid day meal workers. Primary level Rs. 4.48 per child per day. High school level Rs. 6.71 per child per day. Egg cost Rs 4.00 CCH will be paid an amount of Rs .1000 per month.
