In Attendance Olive O’Sullivan - Town Clerk & Natalia Gorman - Administrative Officer.

There were four members of the public including Cllrs Cooper & Barrie ( City Council) in attendance and no press.

Brent Aston, Chair of Governors at Minworth Junior & Infant School spoke regarding irresponsible parking close to the school in particular during school pick up and drop off times. The Chairman advised Mr Aston that Birmingham City Council (BCC) Highways Engineers were liaising with the BCC Transporation Behaviour Change Team on a possible safer routes to school project to address the parking issues at Minworth School. A meeting with BCC officers, the School and Councillors will be arranged when BCC are in a position to provide information.

Maureen Murphy, & Minworth ward expressed concern over a dangerous bollard on Walmley Ash Lane and large HGV’s that park overnight despite double yellow lines being in place. The Chairman advised Ms Murphy that the Town Council will raise these matter with BCC.

(ii) Schedules of Planning Applications Decisions Two applications were refused when Sutton Coldfield Town Council had no objections. One in Vesey ward and one in Walmley & Minworth ward. These applications were rejected due to specific breaches of various building codes that Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council do not have resources or the intention to verify, as such codes are checked by Birmingham City Council planners.
