MILLENNIAL FASHION WALK-FASHION FIESTA AT ITS PEAK TMUC rocked by Sahara UK Concert To mark the closure of GEW celebrations the internationally acclaimed Bhangra band UK Sahara performed with a brilliantly choreographed show. Their dramatic stage presence added sparkle to the celebration offering students a wonderful opportunity to unwind after two months of hard work. The two-day celebrations of the Millennium Global Entrepreneurship Week MGEW 2017 culminated with a mega fashion show and concert at the Millennium University College Islamabad. In an effort to promote women empowerment and entrepreneurship the TMUC fashion department organized a glamorous, exciting and star studded fashion show featuring eminent names from the fashion Industry. Internationally acclaimed fashion designer, social activist, entrepreneur and mentor Mr Yousuf Bashir Qureshi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Prominent designers Monarchy, MJ couture, Moonz Jewellery, Nasia Kureshi, Zebaish and TMUC students showcased their designs donned by professional models and TMUC students.

The Millennial Olympiad – TMO 2017 was the first mega 3-day event hosted by a dedicated team of A-Level and Undergraduate students who worked tirelessly under the supervision of their activity coordinators. The highlight of this event was the Fashion Show in which the students of the Edexcel HND Fashion & Textile programme showcased their first semester projects in the form of exquisite European style gowns themed 'Blue Galaxy'. The beautiful gowns were displayed by our own students who walked the ramp with immense zeal and confidence. The Millennial Model United Nations MMUN 2017 was yet another and the first Model UN mega event organized by TMUC Bahria Springs. The purpose of this event was to promote peace and prosperity through partnership and connectivity bringing the youth of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad together under one roof to join hands to have productive debate on current International issues. The delegates participated in the following Model UN committees: 1) UNSC 2) DISEC 3) SOCHUM 4) WHO 5) UNDP 6) PNA. The MUN also featured an extravagant Theme Dinner and DJ Night. Amongst several highlights of the first Academic Year 2016-17, the most prominent one is that of foreign university acceptances and massive scholarships of over half of the first A - Level graduating batch which was the result of the combined efforts of the students and their Guidance Counselors.

The ceremony took place at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi. The theme for the symposium focused on The Future of Professional Accountants. ACCA Pakistan was the knowledge partner for the event. Speaking on the occasion, the CEO Roots Millennium Schools and The Millennium University College Mr. Faisal Mushtaq TI said, “The only constant in today's world is “change”. From new skills & innovation to changing roles, we analyze where the future will take the next generation of finance professionals. The global economy is fast changing, unforgiving & competitive. The Millennial Global Entrepreneurship Week 2k17 - TMUC LAHORE TMUC Lahore hosted the worldwide celebrated movement, Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017. The inaugural event was held on 11th November, 2017 when Lahore witnessed an extraordinary energy and passion with the remarkable concert of international band, AKCENT. The event was very well organized and the security and discipline was commendable. The concert generated an audience of 300 people. Second round of activities under GEW included inspirational sessions by eminent entrepreneurs of Pakistan. Chairman of Pak Wheel Suneel Sarfraz Munj and Mr.Jahanzaib Shukhera (Lawyer Mandivi Wala & Zafar Advocate) shared insights on entrepreneurship with the students. The sessions were highly informative, motivational and encouraging for the students.

Faculty Meet and Greet session TMUC also invited all visiting faculty of University of London, A-level, ACCA and HND programs for a meet and greet session with the CEO at Freddy's Hotel Lahore. In this informal networking session, CEO gathered feedback from all faculty members, shared his vision for TMUC and ensured a long term sustainable relationship.

The Millennial Global Entrepreneurship Week 2k17 - TMUC PESHAWAR The Millennium Model United Nations 2017, a gigantic platform that allows students to challenge themselves in debating within the domain of diplomatic debate, was held in Khyber Campus Peshawar from 10th Nov to 12th Nov 2017. More than 1500 students participated in this three day event which involved substantial researching, public speaking, debating, coaching, writing skills as well as critical thinking, team work and leadership abilities. The event was inaugurated by Principal Tehmina Khalid wherein she expressed the need to engage the youth of Pakistan in such organized events and foster team work. The topic of the diplomatic moot was 'Transcending Beyond Borders '. It was an extraordinary platform to discuss the most important issues around the world to current Muslim situation to refugee crisis. The students addressed the panel with the most profound and intelligent questions, which led to a most interesting debate and analysis of ideas, problems and solutions. The closing ceremony was graced by notable personalities from Peshawar and followed by a musical evening where the famous international band Akcent performed. MUN provided cooperative, hands on, experiential learning that allows student to attain lifelong experiences and attain a broadening world view and the discovery of the human side of International relations and diplomacy. The Millennial Global Entrepreneurship Week 2k17 - TMUC GUJRANWALA Queensbury Campus, TMUC Gujranwala has made a mark in the city from the time it began operations in June 2016. Located in the heart of the city, TMUC Queensbury Campus's academic and co-curricular achievements have far surpassed all neighboring institutions. This success has been achieved by a team of highly competent individuals working in close collaboration under the strong and dynamic leadership of the CEO Sir Faisal Mushtaq and Principal Madam Rabbea Irfan.

Amongst several highlights of the first Academic Year 2016-17, the most prominent one is the Millennial Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event included Wall Graffiti Competition and Fashion Parade 2016. Millennial Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017 was celebrated as a two day Mega Event of this year. Winter Fest 2017 and Qawali Night were the main features of the Event. Once again our event created hype among the community and there were participations of over 900 people all over the city! Pakistan Red Crescent Society holds FA & CPR Training - TMUC Rawalpindi Pakistan Red Crescent Society PRCS held an First Aid FA & Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR Training at TMUC Bahria Springs on 16th and 17th of January 2018. Total 18 students actively participated, passed the test and qualified for the certification. Emergency First Aid Course with Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is designed to train the personnel in basic first aid lifesaving skills along with CPR skills which may help to revive a causality who has stopped breathing and circulation as in case of sudden heart attack. After successful completion of this course participants will be able to handle the day to day emergency in a professional way to save the lives of the injured.

The band fusions Qawwali and Sufi Qawal with rock n roll aiming to promote friendships across PAKISTAN borders. In times where communication and mutual understanding is often complicated, Rocqawali uses music to show how diverse cultures can come closer to each other. Rocqawali sings 700 year old classical sufi poetry, heritage of subcontinent – the sufi culture – which promotes peace, love and unity. The band emphasizes both, the European modern culture and the Pakistani tradition. The lead single of the group, Ejaz Sher Ali hails from the renowned families of Meher Ali and Sher Ali Qawwal out of Faisalabad along with Stephan Grabowski, Jonas Stampe, Tin Soheili and Thomas Nesborg – four seasoned musicians from Denmark. All the speakers stressed upon the fact that the Academia and industry share a symbiotic relationship. Academia produces graduates who are absorbed by industry. Such workshops or specialist meetings organized by academics can be an excellent source of new ideas as they bring together experts to discuss the state of-the-art and potential research agendas. The Generation Next: Paving the road for the future - TMUC ISLAMABAD The Millennium University College (TMUC) H-11/4, Islamabad, Tuesday organised the Transnational Industry Academia Partnership Symposium in an effort to bridge the gap between industry and the academia at TMUC Auditorium. The theme of the symposium was 'The Generation Next: Paving the road for the future. ACCA Pakistan was the knowledge partner for the event. The keynote speech was delivered by Riaz Pesnani, Partner KPMG. Riaz discussed the necessary skills required for the professional accountants of the future so that they might become the “drivers of change” in their role as Millennials. Also present on the occasion as panellists and guest speakers were Rahat Kaunain, Senior Partner Hassan Kaunain Nafees, Mustafa Hyder Sayed, Pakistan China Institute executive director and Affan Ajaz, head of talent acquisition and employability, VEON. · SAT Score: (November) In the first ever batch of A-levels at TMUC Gujranwala, Queensbury Campus, TMUC Islamabad organized a three-day Sports tournament for Badminton, Cricket, Table tennis, basketball. Table Tennis and Badminton matches were held on campus for both Boys Students appeared for SAT-I and with and Girls (Singles) on Thursday, 21st December while Basketball match - held between Roots their splendid efforts and continuous Millennium School I-9 Campus and TMUC students – was held on Friday, 22nd December at hard work, Moiz Naeem scored 1470/- on TMUC Greens, H-11/4. The 20-20 Cricket match between TMUC Staff and Student was held at his first attempt. RMS Wahid Campus was held on Friday, 22nd December.

The prime purpose behind Taleem is to ‘empower’ students in different areas of their lives, inclusive but not limited to the following: 1) Promote self-discovery & awareness 2) Enhance academic performance 3) Support Professional development The Session was conducted by: Dr Faisal Mamsa a physician having received his training in general psychiatry at USD, USA and then attaining a scholarship to do fellowship in psychoanalysis by American psychoanalytical association, NY, USA. He combines his seventeen years of experience and expertise in psychopharmacology, if required, with counseling based on his background in studying brain chemistry and human psychology. Rangreza Cast & Crew Visit -TMUC Islamabad

The cast and crew of Pakistani blockbuster film a musical romantic drama film visited TMUC Islamabad to promote their film. Directed by Amir Mohiuddin, and written by Akhtar Qayyum under the production banner of Vision Art Films the film features Gohar Rasheed, Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Hocane and Ghana Ali in the main cast. The film released on 22 December 2017, and was distributed by ARY Films in Pakistan. During the visit the film’s cast mingled with the students engaging them in fun activities and while the lead singer sang the film’s melodious tracks with the audience.
