The cancer genome: a path to personalised medicine Progress in research into the human genome, a new generation of DNA sequencing technologies and their application to cancer research have opened up new perspectives, through which the alterations associated with each tumour can be defined and treatment can be personalised to suit each patient.

Andorra Special Olympics Federation Ninth edition of the International Ski Trophy In 2018, the Andorra Special Olympics Federation organised and took part in the ninth International Ski Trophy, with representation from Catalonia, Aragon, France and Monaco. The race consisted of a two-run giant slalom in Soldeu-El Tarter.

The ‘Music and creativity’ social and educational project, created in 2015 with the Nostra Senyora de Meritxell Specialised School, continued to flourish in 2018. This scheme encourages the use of music as a tool for social inclusion that explores new horizons and brings artistic participation within everyone’s reach. 33 At the service Concert and project bookings of culture The ONCA in its various forms was booked to play at a range of Our music events in 2018: the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Andorran National Stage Principality of Andorra and the beginning of diplomatic relations Foundation (ENA) between Andorra and France, the 40th anniversary of the parish of Escaldes-Engordany, the 19th Tautavel Music Festival, the Narciso Yepes Ordino and Fundació Crèdit Andorrà Festival and the award ceremony for the Ramon Llull Prize, among others.

It was also kept busy by its ‘Music and creativity’ project, which included:

> Participation in the Claror occupational workshop, in La Seu d’Urgell, which involves people with differing abilities and limitations. > Collaboration with the Alt Urgell People’s Assistance Consortium (Capau). > A seminar for education professionals entitled Group work from a political perspective. Our music

Andorran National Stage Foundation (ENA) Ordino Festivals Association ORDINO CLÀSSIC Experience in the winter, too For over three decades now, Ordino Parish Council and the Fundació Crèdit Andorrà have demonstrated their commitment to culture by striving to bring music closer to the public. With a view to going back to the original essence of what was the Narciso Yepes Festival, these two institutions created a new festival that, under the name of ORDINO CLÀSSIC, aspires to become Andorra’s leading classical festival and the main winter festival in the Pyrenees.

ORDINO CLÀSSIC is an outward-looking event, with a diverse range of performers: from international greats to young Andorran musicians. The festival is made up of shows in different formats that offer a world of experiences, including large-scale concerts, smaller, day-time performances, a family concert, recitals by emerging young artists and musical workshops. These take place all over the parish of Ordino, every weekend from 8 December 2018 to 23 March 2019.

Parish Council and the Fundació Crèdit Andorrà, with the support of 970 attendees Sant Julià de Lòria Parish Council as a partner.

ENA productions 2018–2019

The ENA’s pieces cover a range of genres, such as comedy drama, comedy thriller and science fiction thriller. Its 2018–2019 work includes two 100% Andorran productions, an educational, family show and a dramatic reading.

These productions all take place in the parishes of La Massana and Sant Julià de Lòria.
