    02-03-2015 10:40 CET Gode sjanser for Norge i Algarve Cup Laguttaket til Algarve Cup er klart, og Norge jakter medalje med utenlandsproffer som Ada Hegerberg, Kristine Minde og Caroline Graham Hansen i troppen. Prestisjefulle Algarve Cup begynner på Eurosport denne uken, og for et Norge som jakter medalje blir det en tøff start den 4. mars når USA står på motsatt side. Sistnevnte vurderes som en av de største favorittene til å vinne VM i sommer og møtet blir derfor en god test for Norge. På tross av den tøffe starten er det ventet at Norge skal være med å prege turneringen.I tillegg til USA har Norge også Island og Sveits i gruppen sin, med kamper mot de respektive lagene den 6. og 9. mars. – Jeg tror vi har store sjanser til å gjøre det godt, og laget har sett bra ut i det siste. Folk er godt trent, og vi er på veldig god vei. Vi har et kjempespennende lag, fortalte Cathrine Dekkerhus tidligere i et intervju med Fotballen.no. FFC TURBINE POTSDAM LIEBE FANS, eigentlich sollte im Jahr 2021 ja vieles besser werden, doch die Realität belehrt uns in diesen Tagen wie so oft eines Besseren: Die Corona-Pandemie hat unser Leben weiterhin fest im Griff, an eine Normalität ist noch lange nicht zu denken. Und so bleibt es auch zum Start in die zweite Saisonhälfte der FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga beim fast schon gewohnten Bild: Die Fans werden weiterhin schmerzlich vermisst. Es ist fast ein Jahr her, als 1.820 Zuschauer den 5:1-Erfolg der Wölfinnen gegen den 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam bejubeln konnten – danach bestimmte das Virus die Auslastung. Nun treffen die VfL-Frauen erneut auf den Konkurrenten aus der brandenburgischen Landeshauptstadt, der als Tabellenvierter zu seinem geographisch nächstgelegenen Auswärtsspiel anreist. Ein Nachholspiel haben die Turbinen noch in der Hinterhand, der Drei-Punkte-Rückstand auf die drittplatzierte TSG 1899 Hoffenheim kann also noch egalisiert werden. Es geht immerhin um die Champions-League-Qualifikation , schließlich darf die FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga künftig drei Klubs in die euro- päische Königsklasse entsenden. Etwas kurios ist die Tatsache, dass diese Partie eigentlich erst im Frühjahr über die Bühne hätte gehen sollen, schließlich handelt es sich um den vorverlegten 19. Spieltag. Für die Wölfinnen beginnt das neue Jahr in einer nach wie vor ungewohnten Rolle – in der des Jägers. Aber längst haben die Schützlinge von Trainer Stephan Lerch, der in seine letzten Monate als VfL-Coach geht, diese Rolle angenommen. Natür- lich ist das Fernziel noch immer die Titelverteidigung, allerdings rechnet man bei den Grün-Weißen in dieser Saison eher wie bei der Tour de France – in Etappen.
