NAZIONALE A FEMMINILE Qualificazioni Europee: 5 novità tra le convocate di Milena Bertolini per Israele e Georgia Nel gruppo delle 23 Azzurre, oltre a Durante, le ‘Universitarie’ Baldi, Lenzini, Bonfantini e Caruso. Squadra in raduno a Coverciano da giovedì 22 agosto Roma, 19 agosto 2019 – Con l’inizio del nuovo ciclo di qualificazione al Campionato Europeo Femminile UEFA 2021, la cui fase finale verrà disputata in Inghilterra, la Nazionale guidata da Milena Bertolini, reduce dall’ottima prestazione nella Coppa del Mondo, torna a radunarsi giovedì 22 agosto presso il Centro Tecnico Federale di Coverciano in vista dei due primi impegni ufficiali contro Israele e Georgia. Nella lista delle 23 convocate azzurre figurano ben cinque novità rispetto al gruppo che ha preso parte alla kermesse mondiale: i portieri Francesca Durante (Fiorentina Women), già presente nei raduni preliminari a Francia 2019, e Rachele Baldi (Empoli Ladies), reduce dall’Universiade; il difensore Martina Lenzini (Sassuolo), e i centrocampisti Agnese Bonfantini (AS Roma) e Arianna Caruso (Juventus), protagoniste anch’esse con la Nazionale Universitaria ai giochi in Campania. Novità infine anche nello staff tecnico con Nicola Matteucci che va ad affiancare il Ct nel ruolo di assistente allenatore. Il programma tecnico a Coverciano prevede 5 sessioni di allenamento sino a sabato 24 agosto, con un test conclusivo previsto nella mattinata di domenica 25. Nel tardo pomeriggio quindi il gruppo azzurro si trasferirà a Roma da dove, il giorno successivo alle 12.00, partirà per Tel Aviv. Giovedì 29 allo stadio ‘Ramat Gan’ il match d’esordio nelle Qualificazioni contro Israele (ore 18.30 locali – CET +1). -
