inside the Donald A. Stafford Media Conference Room at Dallas Police Headquarters.

The Dallas Police Chaplains have faithfully and selflessly served the Dallas Police Department and the community. The Dallas Police Department honors the men and woman who serve the Lord first, and stand on the thin blue line with Dallas police officers. Thank you chaplains for your unwavering support, commitment, and service to others.

The Cold Case Squad has been able to provide closure to families by bringing justice with arrests, clearances and convictions with assistance from the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences (SWIFS), the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), numerous units within the Dallas Police Department, and law enforcement agencies throughout the country.

During the past two years, the Cold Case Squad has also assisted numerous other law enforcement agencies with their cases. Most recently, a review of our records from an arrest and the subsequent recovery of a firearm assisted the Houston Police Department’s Cold Case Unit with a case they were working on from 1969. Houston PD’s Cold Case Unit subsequently charged their suspect with murder.

The Cold Case Squad continues to investigate unsolved murders and to bring relief to the families of the victims as well as to the citizens of Dallas.
