The Arrow Senior Edition 2021

Thanks for the Memories By Kaylee Johnson & Stella Hahn When you go to the same school with the same people for both your junior high and high school years, you’re bound to have some pretty memorable times. Here are some of the best memories that members of the class of 2021 have had throughout their Tecumseh school experience.

Payton Buse- It would either be setting a sectional record this season in swim or winning Homecoming King with Amber Sheets as Queen.

Gracie Gogel- My best high school memory was the two years I got to go to the FFA National Convention with the other FFA members. COVID sadly took away these last two years of going, but the late night drives and all of the memories we made on those trips were some memories I will never forget.

Simon Hahn- Mine would be our team beating Eastern Greene 6-0 this year during the sectional football game.

Lydia Howe- It would probably be sophomore year Almost Anything Goes, because that was the year we won.

Lane Patterson- My favorite memory was when I was in 7th grade at a school assembly when Mr. Paige rolled out on a “wrecking ball” but he was actually just on a yoga massage ball.

Emma Scales- My favorite memory at Tecumseh was being on the swim team and having the opportunity to build good relationships with my teammates and coach. We always had a fun time together.

Abby Teddleton- My favorite memory is when we were on the field and someone threw a bucket at me and I tried to stop it with my foot but instead my foot went all the way through the bucket.

Jacob Werner- It was always fun going to someone’s house or out to eat in between going to tech school and Tecumseh. Guess the Baby! By Caroline Wilson & Nelly Lemen Try to see if you can figure out which baby is which senior! Answers are at the end of The Arrow.

We are so proud of the young adults you’ve become. Since we have all been in your shoes before, we have some words of wisdom to share!

Mr. Loveless: You will spend 30+ years in a career. Find something that doesn't feel like "work". Mr. Oxley: Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities; Seize common occasions and make them great. Senora Tooley: Do not be afraid of failure. We learn from our failures and that's what helps us to succeed. Mrs. Schleter: Dr. Seuss once said: “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own and you know what you know. And you are the guy who’ll decide where to go.” I have learned in my life that you can’t do what you think will please others. Don’t be pulled in a direction that isn’t your own path, follow your heart and passions and dreams. You might be surprised where that path may lead! Ms. Rexing: "Whether you intend to or not, you are going to change the world in some way. Make it positive." Determine your own definition of success and work hard to achieve it Always plant corn two inches into the ground but not until the ground temperature reaches 50 degrees.” Mrs. Ashby: Call your mother often. She is going to miss you. Ms. McCleland: Remember that hard work and determination will take you further in this life than choosing the easy path or cheating ever will. Most days it’ll be tough, but the reward is more fruitful when you decide to put in the effort and time. Make the most of each day, for the years pass by too quickly. Congratulations and best of luck Class of 2021. Mrs. Alcorn: Live your life believing that something wonderful is about to happen. If you look for reasons to be grateful, to be happy, to be in awe, you will find them. And on this journey, remember that you are one of those positive things that another seeker is looking to find. Be ready to make a difference. Mr. Harris: Don't be in a rush to become an adult. Enjoy this time to find out what you want to do and who you want to be. But we need you to get good jobs, so we can afford to retire one day. Mrs. Ripple: Don’t underestimate the power of kindness. Senior Throwback By Elyssa Ernspiger & Kinsly Heichelbech

They may be leaving, but they don’t have to take everything with them.

I, Lizzie Richardt, will my silicone swim cap to Alyssa Beadles so that she might stop losing hers during an event and delaying the meet.

I, Lillee Sullivan, will my friend group’s chaotic energy to the Junior class so that the softball team might have more fun.

I, Chris Orth, will my bass pro hats to Trevor Curtis so that he might wear them in remembrance.

I, Remington Pfeffer, will the entire THS drama stage to Emma Stevens so that she might take over the drama department.

I, Lane Patterson, will my parking spot to Kylee Watts so that she might park in my spot.

I, Chris Rhodes, will my parking spot to Trenton Schaefer so that he might be like chig.

I, Quade Yager, will my parking spot to Andy Yager so that he might experience road rage when a certain staff member thinks it's ok to change the rotation and park there.

I, Lauren Brammeier, will my loud mouth in volleyball to Bri Marx and Jenna Donohoo so that they might hype the team up!

I, Reagan Hight, will my confidence at the plate to Bri Marx so that she might be an absolute beast next season.

I, Abby Teddleton, will my obligation of asking big Doug what he had for lunch to Emily Hall so that Doug can tell everyone about his pork chops.

I, Katie Tooley, will my one singles tennis court to Lexi Carlisle so that she doesn’t have to play on the torn up two singles court. May you win many matches and never trip again.

I, Kaylen Baker, will my #21 jersey to some poor freshman so that she might memorize all of Gordon’s Roberto Clemente trivia. Senior Art By Kyra Ethridge & Amber Sheets
