Dear Parent / Carer

Year 6 are due to start secondary school in September 2018. The eAdmissions website for online applications opened on 1st September and the closing date for applications is 31st October 2017. You must apply for a secondary place for your child even if they have an older brother or sister at your preferred school.

As part of the transfer process for our Year 6 pupils, I would like to invite you to a short informal meeting on Wednesday 20th September at 6:30pm in Mars Class. We have a limited number of “Starting Secondary School 2018” booklets, detailing the admissions process, which will be handed out at the meeting. A crèche will be available for siblings only, aged 3 years and above.

We would recommend that you visit the schools that you are interested in - dates and times of Waltham Forest secondary school open evenings are detailed overleaf.

As this is an important transition for your child, I would encourage you to come along to our meeting. I look forward to seeing you then.
