Learn a fun routine with competitive cheer elements including cheer, tumble, jumps, dance, sign work. Choreography and music taught by nationally recognized coaches. A great way to learn the foundations of high school, Allstar and college competitive cheer. WINTER CHEER DURING COVID-19

• All-Star Cheerleading and inter-state competitive cheerleading is currently paused due to: • Restrictions on in person, inter-state competitions • Restrictions on inter-state travel • Restrictions on in-door stunting • Restrictions on team practice environments 2019-2020 CHEER SEASON LESSONS LEARNED

• In-person local competitions were shut down due to COVID-19 • Quarantining affects months of stunt group progression • Cheer seasons as units of time are inflexible to changes in COVID-19 restrictions • Athletes continuity of training due to the complete shut down WINTER CHEER CHALLENGES

• Re-organization of practice and instruction in a COVID-19 class permitted approach • New approach to performances • Flexible approach to the season and costs in preparation of greater COVID-19 restrictions • Various levels of commitment for families with different COVID-19 related needs • All training under strict Center for Disease Control safety guidelines • Controlled space with an abundance of sanitation protocol WINTER CHEER 2020-2021

• WINTER CHEER CLASS - 60 Minute Choreography and Instruction • CONTACTLESS CHEER • 1.5 Minute Routine including jump, tumble, cheer, dance, professionally mixed music • No stunting • Three proposed parent shows with digital viewing, in-person if permitted • Broken up by age WINTER CHEER 2020-2021

• COMPULSARY STUNT GROUP- 30 Minute Choreography and Instruction • Athletes work in pre-set stunt groups and learn a compulsory routine covering the fundamentals of competitive cheer including twisting, inverting and releases • Stunt groups formed with like minded families relating to COVID-19 restrictions • Additional COVID-19 prevention measures required WINTER CHEER 2020-2021

• ELITE STUNT GROUP- 30 Minute Choreography and Instruction • Optional Elite Private Stunt Group assembled by athletes of similar skill level and experience • Stunt groups formed with like minded families relating to COVID-19 restrictions • Groups work with private coach to develop an elite stunting routine (15 8- counts or less) • Additional COVID-19 prevention measures required WINTER CHEER 2020-2021

• 3 LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION • WINTER CHEER CLASS – ALL PARTICIPATE • COMPULSARY STUNT GROUP- All MAY PARTICIPATE BASED ON FAMILY CHOICE • ELITE STUNT GROUP- All MAY PARTICIPATE BASED ON FAMILY CHOICE AND QUALIFYING TRYOUT SESSION WHAT IS A TYPICAL PRACTICE WEEK?

Winter Cheer Class and Compulsory Stunt Group – 1Day of Practice • Athlete arrives for 60 Minute Winter Cheer Class to learn cheer routine and skills from Coaches/Instructors • Athlete may leave after 60 minutes or stay for additional with their Compulsory Stunt Group and Coaches/Instructors WHAT IS A TYPICAL PRACTICE WEEK?

Elite Stunt Stunt Group – Additional Day of Practice (30 to 45 minutes) • Elite group meets with Evolution assigned elite coach and qualifies stunt routine and skills • Groups schedule private sessions with elite coaches to learn elite choreography • Group practices at open gyms or with private schedule sessions with elite coach MONTHLY PARENT SHOWS

• 3 Performances at Top Corner Sports Facility • Possible dates - Weekend of January 30/31, February 27/28, March 20/21 • Athletes show updated/different routines at each show • Winter Cheer • Compulsory • Elite MEET OUR COACHES AMANDA NEAL

• Coached at Evolution for 3 years, along with creating choreography for many teams • Cheered for 12 years at a high school, all star, and college level • Placed in the top 10, 4 times at high school UCA nationals • Competed at Worlds and Daytona NCA nationals multiple times • Individual PANAM national champion • Bachelor of Science in Information Science from University of Maryland • Currently a Business Development Specialist at Constellation MEET OUR COACHES NADIA TOTH

• Former Evolution All-Star cheerleader • Current Evolution Instructor • All star athlete for 15 years/high school cheer • Cheer Athletics Plano Texas Worlds Athlete • Studying early education & child psychology at William Paterson/previously Oklahoma state • Always had a passion for watching children break through their fears and achieve their goals • Want to share my love and experience that I’ve had for this sport for so many years NEED TO KNOW

• Teams and division will be based on the ages of the athletes on the team • Three Progressive Payments As The Season Moves Forward • New athletes may join during the season • One Practice Gear outfit required • December 12 Cheer Skills Clinic (pre-season option) in Bridgewater Location • December 14 Cheer Skills Clinic (pre-season option) in Hunterdon Location • No Uniform NEED TO KNOW

• Winter Cheer/Compulsory Stunt Practice Days • May be on Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on child’s age • Elite Stunt • Scheduled basis on gym availability or during Monday/Friday open gyms • Location • Bridgewater, Top Corner Sports • Flemington Location soon to be determined based on availability NEED TO KNOW

• Practice Gear - $50 or less • December 12/14 Clinic - $25 per session • Winter Cheer Costs - $100 per month, three payments totaling $300 • Compulsory Stunt – Additional $25 per participant, three payments totaling $75 • Elite Private Stunt – On a scheduled basis - $70 per group for each private 30 minute scheduled session with an elite coach and the use of open gyms IMPORTANT DATES

• 12/3/20 - Parent Meeting Registration Opens • 12/12/20 - Cheer Skills Clinics • 12/20/20 – Practice Gear Store Closes, Gear Arrives on January 15, 2021 • 1/4/21 – First week of practices • 3/27/21 – Last Parent Show and Celebration (daytime) HOW TO REGISTER
