The Uni- Outlook versity also offers courses in Myrtle Beach, the Waccamaw Center for Higher Educa- tion in Litchfi eld and in Georgetown. Waties Island, 1,062 acres of pristine barrier island on the Atlantic coast, provides a natural laboratory for extensive study in marine Chanticleers science and wetlands biology. Students en- rolled in Coastal’s Professional Golf Man- 2007 agement program staff Quail Creek Golf Club at Coastal Carolina University, a public 18-hole golf facility located adjacent to the campus. Coaching Staff Academic Programs Coastal Carolina University offers baccalaureate degree programs in 39 major fi elds of study and 37 undergraduate minors. The University also offers six master’s degree programs in education, instructional technology, and coastal marine and wetland studies. Coastal’s growing array of international programs take students to places such as Australia, Costa Rica, Cuba, England, Opponents Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Germany, India, Japan and Russia. 2007 Coastal Carolina University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the baccalaureate and master’s degrees. The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Spadoni College of Education is accredited by the National Council University for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the South Carolina State The Board of Education. A. DeCenzo became the ssecond president of Coastal Carolina Information Media UniversityUniversity onon MayMay 7,7 2007.2007 DeCenzo joined Coastal’s administration in 2002 when he was named dean of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration. He was named provost and senior vice president of academic administration in May 2006. Before joining the Coastal faculty, DeCenzo served as director 2007 Season Outlook of partnership development in the College of Business and Economics at Towson University in Maryland from 1999 to 2002. He earned
