The Uni- Outlook versity also offers courses in Myrtle Beach, the Waccamaw Center for Higher Educa- tion in Litchfi eld and in Georgetown. Waties Island, 1,062 acres of pristine barrier island on the Atlantic coast, provides a natural laboratory for extensive study in marine Chanticleers science and wetlands biology. Students en- rolled in Coastal’s Professional Golf Man- 2007 agement program staff Quail Creek Golf Club at Coastal Carolina University, a public 18-hole golf facility located adjacent to the campus. Coaching Staff Academic Programs Coastal Carolina University offers baccalaureate degree programs in 39 major fi elds of study and 37 undergraduate minors. The University also offers six master’s degree programs in education, instructional technology, and coastal marine and wetland studies.
