'Oncno; ka Hua Kupuna. Through the fruits of the knowledge of our kupuna, 'tile Mainland Council continues to Preserve and Perpetuate the Hawaiian culture.

The Mainland Council Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs has been given jurisdiction over the Hawaiian Civic Clubs in the Continental United States and Alaska. At the 46th AHCC Annual Convention, in 2005, in South Kohala, Hawai'i, the Association chartered the newest Mainland Council Hawaiian Civic Club, Ke AIi'i Victoria Ka'iulani HCC, from Chicago, Illinois. Pelekikena of the Chicago HCC is Hinano Lee.

Mainland Council Club reports indicate that the clubs are very busy. Olelo classes, genealogy workshops, Hawaiian health projects on cancer and diabetes, Hawaiian craft workshops, lei hulu, mele, hula and ukulele classes, activities such as picnics, bowling, volleyball tournaments, and outrigger canoe regattas are being held. Fund-raising for the purpose of giving scholarships and Kau Inoa sign-ups continue and special groups are reaching out to other cities on the Continent to assist and inform them of the Hawaiian Civic Club movement.

Delegates of the Mainland Council also participated in the 3ih Annual Lei Draping Ceremony for King Kamehameha I, on June 11, 2006, in the U.S. Capitol Building, Statuary Hall Washington D.C. This was the first Mainland Council Board meeting held in Washington D.C.
