This is a specialized social skills camp for children ages 3 to 13 with learning, language, attention, social, and/or sensory challenges. Created and overseen by highly-trained Help Group professionals and featuring a low camper-to-counselor ratio, the program is designed to promote personal development and foster new friendships.

This popular program is for campers ages 5 to 21 who have moderate to severe challenges. Our multidisciplinary team of professionals oversee a creative summer camp designed to help each child reach his or her highest potential and develop unique strengths and abilities. Campers build confidence and self-esteem, practice important life skills, and take steps toward independence while making new friends and having fun.

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: Our campers enjoy fun and enriching activities in a safe and nurturing environment. We group campers by age and ability and maintain a high counselor to camper ratio to maximize individual attention. Our daily schedule of thematic activities includes:

WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT (1-WEEK SESSION) 2-WEEK SESSION An introduction to the design, creation, and maintenance of web pages and June 25 – July 6 (No camp July 4) websites. Students learn how to critically evaluate website quality, create 9:00am-2:00pm and maintain quality web pages, learn about web design standards and why they’re important, and create and manipulate images. The course progresses COST from introductory work on web design to a culminating project in which $1,080 students design and develop websites for a cause or interest of their choice. LOCATIONS VALLEY GLEN ENGINEERING & CODING WITH VEX (2-WEEK SESSION) 6455 Coldwater Canyon Ave Design, build, wire and program your own bot using the VEX Robotics Valley Glen, CA 91606 Design System, and compete in challenges. Be part of a team, go hands-on

to build a frame and base for the robot, and engineer it to be ready for CULVER CITY 12095 West Washington Blvd competition with other teams. KIDS LIKE ME The Help Group Kids Like Me programs, located in the Los Angeles area, are designed especially for children and adolescents (from preschool to high school) with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges.
