Alternate Week Collection Important Changes to your Recycling Pick Up Schedule & Procedure Effective January 1, 2019, cardboard and products will NOT be picked up the same week as , cans and #1- #6. Pick up will be on alternating weeks: Cardboard and paper will be picked up one week along with waste. Bottles, cans and plastic #1- #6 will be picked up the next week along with waste. This change will improve efficiency, reduce costs, use less fuel and reduce carbon emissions.
