The Bicocca area is in the north east of Milano. The University now stands on what once was the industrial site of the world famous Pirelli tyre company. The University address is: Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca Piazza dell'Ateneo Nuovo 1 I-20126 Milano (Italia). • LINEA 1/Red Line: Take the direction Sesto and get off at PRECOTTO. • LINEA 2/ Green Line: Take the direction Cologno Nord and get off at GOBBA. From here there is a bus 44 (with stops in via Cozzi, via Emanueli) • LINEA 2/ Green Line: Get off at GARIBALDI . From here there is the tram 11 which stops in viale Fulvio Testi. Remember to take the tram in the direction with your back to the railway station. • LINEA 3: yellow Line: get off at ZARA. From here take the metrotramvia 7 which stops at the railway station of Milano Greco) • TRAM 2: From the city centre and will drop you off in viale Fulvio Testi. This tram stops at the Stazione Centrale • TRAM 7: From Castello Sforzesco (via Beltrami) to Bicocca University (Arcimboldi) • BUS 44: From Cascina Gobba (line 2 : green line ) to Bicocca area. • BUS 51: Leaves from Porta Volta-Cimiano (line 2: green line) • BUS 724 Leaves from Stazione Centrale F.S and stops in Viale Sarca. Tickets must be bought before boarding buses, trams or metros. Tickets can be bought at newspaper stands or at the metro. Tickets must be stamped before boarding. Tickets cost 1 euro each and are valid for 75 minutes travel or 3 euro for a day ticket. A day ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of stamping. .
