BORELLI FAMILY CIRCLE DEDICATION

Standing gracefully on a hill overlooking the front lawn on the north side of campus, the St. Thomas Aquinas statue keeps a vigilant and loving eye on STAC’s students and community. On May 5, 2011, the surrounding garden was renamed the Borelli Family Circle. Longtime trustee Frank Borelli Sr., his wife Madlyn, and family graciously donated the circle to the College. Dr. Margaret Fitzpatrick, S.C., President of the College, began the dedication ceremony with a warm welcome. She thanked the Borelli family for their generosity and spoke about the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas. Borelli Family scholarship recipients Celena Triantis Class of 2014, Andrew Tartara Class of 2012, and Mariel Henriquez Class of 2014 were present and recited St. Thomas Aquinas sayings. Dr. Fitzpatrick unveiled the Borelli Family Plaque and presented the Borelli Family with a replica of St. Thomas Aquinas statue. Paul is an actor/filmmaker and recently opened his own production office named Tappan Films, where he both identifies locations for local film makers as well and shoots and directs his own works.

Through his work at Tappan Films, Paul shot the movie Goat in part at St. Thomas Aquinas Campus which included Emmy Award-winning Armand Assante, lce T, Ja Rule, Cathy Moriarty, William DeMeo and Vincent Pastore. Borghese co-wrote, co-produced and directed the independent film which will be in theatres in 2012. Paul also recently had the leading role in the movie: Vita Bonafacci.
