Mix thoroughly. Feel free to adjust the quantities. 2) Take about a ball of dough the size of a walnut or golf ball and roll it out on a floured countertop. 3) Use a spatula to move it onto a cookie sheet. 4) Make holes in the rolled-out dough using one or more forks. This is important; if you don’t make the holes it will bake into a pita bread. 5) Bake at 400⁰ until it’s hard, then let them cool on a rack. Note: When I’m rolling out the dough I sprinkle some kosher salt (large crystals) and roll the salt into the dough. -

ROSH HASHANAH & YOM KIPPUR REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT: Remove everything from the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature before reheating. CHICKEN SOUP WITH MATZOH BALL Use a saucepan or double boiler over low heat on top of stove. BRISKET Bake covered in preheated 375°F oven for 15-20 minutes. Gravy should be starting to bubble. GRAVY (contains wine) Use a saucepan or double boiler over low heat on top of stove. Add a couple of tablespoons of water to avoid gravy sticking to pot. BEEF SHORT RIBS Bake covered in preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes. Increase time for larger serving. FILET OF BEEF Roast uncovered in preheated 375°F oven for 12-15 minutes. We recommend serving sliced filet at room temperature. FREE-RANGE ROASTED CHICKEN Preheat oven to 350°F; roast uncovered for 10-12 minutes. WHOLE ROASTED CAPON Preheat oven to 375°F; roast uncovered for 20-25 minutes until skin starts to sizzle. ROASTED FREE-RANGE TURKEY All turkeys are delivered in an aluminum pan wrapped in foil with drippings included. 10-12 pounds: Preheat oven to 350°F. Put 1/2 cup water in the bottom of the pan with turkey drippings. Place foil wrapped turkey in the oven for 30 minutes. Then uncover, raise heat to 375°F. and roast an additional 15-20 minutes. 14-16 pounds: Preheat oven to 350°F. Put 1/2 cup water in the bottom of the pan with turkey drippings. Place foil wrapped turkey in the oven for 30 minutes. Then uncover, raise heat to 375°F.
