Esto implica prestar atención a los factores estructurales, considerando que la historieta nace como parte de la industria cultural y dependiente del campo del mercado. Pero también damos importancia a las prácticas de construcción de los actores que forman parte del campo y que, en determinadas situaciones históricas, introducen modificaciones importantes y momentos de alta autonomía de lo económico. Destacamos el período de la segunda mitad los cincuentas con la aparición de la historieta de autor, la dictadura y la apertura democrática y, desde los noventa, la historieta independiente. Abstract: we analyze the field of the realistic Argentine comics. This implies to attend the structural factors, considering that comics were born as part of the cultural industry and subordinated to the market field. But also we give importance to the actors construction practices, as a part of the field, who, in certain historical situations, introduce important modifications and moments of high autonomy of the economic field. -

Le Sociogramme du civisme dans les Aventures de Blake et Mortimer Charles-Étienne Chaplain-Corriveau Thèse soumise à la Faculté des études supérieures et postdoctorales dans le cadre des exigences du programme de maîtrise en lettres françaises Département de français Faculté des arts Université d’Ottawa © Charles-Étienne Chaplain-Corriveau, Ottawa, Canada, 2016 Résumé Cette thèse étudie l’évolution du civisme à travers l’ensemble des Blake et Mortimer dans une perspective sociocritique. Elle suggère qu’il existe une différente conception du civisme entre les bandes dessinées écrites par Edgar P. Jacobs (publiées de 1946 à 1977) et celles de ses continuateurs (parues de 1996 à 2014). Elle tente de montrer, plus exactement, à l’aide de la notion de sociogramme, comment les premières s’articulent autour d’un humanisme civique et les deuxièmes d’une forme de citoyenneté civile. Tintin and the Adventure of Transformative and Critical Fandom

Volume 17, Issue 2 November 2020 Tintin and the adventure of transformative and critical fandom Tem Frank Andersen & Thessa Jensen, Aalborg University, Denmark Abstract: Using Roland Barthes’ and John Fiske’s notion of the readerly, writerly, and producerly text, this article provides an analysis and a tentative categorization of chosen transformative, fanmade texts for the comic book series The Adventures of Tintin. The focus is on the critical transformation of, and engagement with, the original text by academics, professional fans, and fans of popular culture. The analysis identifies different ways of transformational engagement with the original text: ranging from the academic writerly approach of researchers, over professional fans rewriting and critically engaging with the original text, to fanfiction fans reproducing heteroromantic tropes in homoerotic stories, fans of popular culture using Tintin figurines to document their own travels, and finally, fans who use Tintin covers as a way to express critical political sentiments. With Barthes and Fiske these groups are defined by their way of approaching the original text, thus working either in a readerly producerly or writerly producerly way, depending on how critical and political the producerly attitude is in regard to the original text. Kramsch Preface I still can slightly remember how I stared at the TV in 1995 at the age of seven. The massacre of Srebrenica had happened and I couldn’t understand it at all. Thousands of people were killed and I just couldn’t get a clue of how such thing could happen. It turned out to be the worst ethnic cleansing in Europe since World War II. With retroactive effect the Yugoslavia breakup and its wars kept me fascinating. With the trials of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, just a hour and a half dive from my house and the questionable position and role of the Dutch militaries during the fall of Srebrenica, the Yugoslavia breakup stayed on the political and public agenda. Along the way I became very close friends with Jusmir, a Bosnian teammate from football and with that, I became friends with his whole family. Traces of the wars in Yugoslavia from which they fled to the Netherlands, are still very observable. From a wealthy Bosnian family, they became refugees with almost nothing in my own village. -
