Tingkat Popularitas Program Siaran Radio Ditengah Maraknya Media Sosial Di Kota Balikpapan (Studi Khalayak Remaja Kota Balikpapan). (Dibimbing Oleh Hafied Cangara dan Muliadi Mau). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) untuk mengetahui tingkat popularitas program siaran radio ditengah maraknya media sosial di Kota Balikpapan; (2) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi popularitas program siaran ditengah maraknya media sosial di Kota Balikpapan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Balikpapan selama 4 bulan sejak Februari hingga Juni 2017. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja usia 13- 18 tahun Kota Balikpapan. Responden penelitian ditentukan secara Non probability sampling berdasarkan kreteria-kreteria tertentu. Tipe penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data sekundernya dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan selanjutnya diolah dengan program spss dan selanjutnya disajikan dalam bentuk tabel frekuensi kemudian di analisis secara kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat popularitas program siaran radio KapeFm di Kota Balikpapan berada pada kanal 95.4 Fm. Jenis program siaran yang populer adalah entertaiment. Selanjutnya popularitas program siaran news banyak disukai oleh remaja adalah Sarapan Pagi, program talkshow KK (Karir dan Keluarga) Jesica. Popularitas program siaran entertaiment yang disukai remaja Kota Balikpapan adalah KPFM Playlist. Kemudian popularitas program siaran sport adalah sport review dari Onix Radio dan popularitas program siaran religi adalah indahnya hidup dengan islam oleh IDC FM. Faktor-fakror yang mempengaruhi popularitas program siaran adalah faktor penyiar, informasi yang informatif, musik yang update, faktor narasumber, sinyak yang bagus, penyediaan telepon interktif serta request lagu favorit. The popularity of radio broadcasting programs in the mids of social media in Balikpapan City (Study Case teenage audiences in Balikpapan). (Guided by Hafied Cangara and Muliadi Mau). The purpose of this research is: (1) To know the Popularity of Radio Broadcasting programs in the mids of social media in Balikpapan; (2) to know the factors that influence the popularity of the broadcasting programs in the mids of social media in Balikpapan. This research held in Balikpapan city for 4 months since February until June 2017. As for the study population is teenager with age 13-18 years old in Balikpapan. Study respondents were determinded by non probability sampling based on certain criterias. This type of research is explorative. Primary data collected by using questionare and secondary data collected through literature review. The successful collected data processed by spss program and then presented in the form of frequency table then analyzed in qualitative descriptive. The result showed that the popular broadcasting program in Balkpapan is KapeFm Radio 95.4 Fm channel. The popular type of broadcasting program is Entertaiment. Afterward, the most popular broadcasting program favored by teenagers is Sarapan Pagi, Jesica’s KK Talkshow Program (Karir dan Keluarga). The popular entertaiment broadcasting program favored by the teenagers in Balikpapan is KPFM Playlist. Then,the most popular sport broadcasting program is sport review by Onix Radio and The most popular religion broadcasting program is Indahnya Hidup bersama Islam by IDC Fm. Affecting factors of the
