The Az-Granata plant was created in 2011 under the umbrella of Az-Granata LLC, one of the largest fruit juice producers in the South Caucasus region. Plant located in Agsu has been built on 5.5 hectares of land.

The main covered area of the plant is 20500 m2. There are fruit accepting and first stage processing, alcohol production, wine and other alcoholic beverages ABOUT THE preparation and filling plants operating in the factory. The wine-line produces about 6,000 bottles per hour, while the line for stronger FACTORY drinks produces 4,000 bottles per hour. There is also a specially installed line for souvenir bottles.

Additionally, there is a degustation hall intended for the trainings of the local and foreign wine-makers and . The equipment of the plant is produced by Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria and France. Az-Granata has 450 hectares of and 400 hectares of pomegranate gardens. Pomegranate gardens are organic with a certification of the Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbHt. Local and foreign experts regularly visit and check fruit gardens, fruit production and farming techniques. The brand is using drip irrigation system in the . PRODUCTION PROCESS The wine factory Az-Granata produces products:

• Aromatic strong drinks (brandy from quince, tomato, thyme, tarragon)

GRAPE GARDENS

Az-Granata vineyards are located in the north of the Adnali plateau of Mount Pidrak and Liangyabiz Ridge, located on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, at an altitude of 600-700 meters above sea level.

In the gardens of "Az-Granata" LLC there are table grapes (Sultanina, Prima, Ora, Cardinal, Alfons Lavalle, etc.) and intended for production Madrasa, Saperavi, , , etc.).

Pomegranate gardens consist of several varieties such as Gyulyovsha, Pink Gyulovsha, Kirmzyzy-kabukh, Nazik-kabukh, Bala Muralsal, Afgan and etc. They are located in the Agsu district of Shirvan plain, near the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.

Az-Granata has and pomegranate gardens in the size of 400 and 450 hectares, respectively. Pomegranate gardens are organic and certified by the Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH

Fruit gardens, methods of their cultivation and production are regularly checked by local and foreign specialists. A drip irrigation system is used in the gardens.
