A trough on Sea Level Chart (SLC) is seen from East Uttar Pradesh to Manipur. 2. A trough in westerlies between 1.5 & 3.1 km above mean sea level runs roughly along Longitude 83°E to the north of Latitude 23°N. 25-05-2020 Red Warnings: 1. Extremely Heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over Kokrajhar, Chirang and Baska districts of Assam. East Siang, Lower Siang, Dibang Valley & Lower Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. Orange Warnings: 2. Very heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over Dhubri, South Salmara, Goalpara Bongaigaon, Barpeta Sonitpur, Bishwanath Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Dhibrugarh, Tinsukia district of Assam. Anjaw, Lohit, Namsai Changlang Triap & Longding districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Yellow warnings: 3. Heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over Upper and Lower Subansiri, Papumpare, districts of Arunachal Pradesh. It is the 24th issue of the series. The general observation and status of the various sectors of the State’s economy is briefly discussed in Part-I and supporting statistical tables are presented in Part-II. Some of the chapters/tables have been modified in the present issue on the basis of the data-base made available by the different Agencies/Departments. The district level data presented herein relates to the 9 (Nine) Districts which existed before the creation of the new 7 (Seven) Districts in December, 2016 except those for which the concerned department is able to furnish information for the 16 districts. Certain information are depicted in the form of charts. It is hoped that with the active co-operation of different Organisations/ Departments, the Directorate will be able to make improvements in the quality and contents of the publication in its future issues.
