Keyboard Shortcuts

Are you too tired to reach for the mouse at the end of a long, hard day? You can perform many basic functions by using keyboard shortcuts!

Some keyboard shortcuts will perform different functions based on the location of your , active , and the program currently in use.

Shortcuts for Office Software

ALT + F4 closes the program and all active documents ALT + toggles between open windows CTRL + A selects all text CTRL + B applies or removes bold CTRL + C copies selection CTRL + D opens the Format Font window CTRL + E centers selected text, or line where the cursor is located CTRL + END places cursor at end of document CTRL + F opens Find window CTRL + I applies or removes italics CTRL + HOME places cursor at top of document CTRL + L left aligns selected text, or line where the cursor is located CTRL + M left indent CTRL + O opens the Open a file window CTRL + P print CTRL + R right aligns selected text, or line where cursor is located CTRL + S save CTRL + U applies or removes underline CTRL + V paste CTRL + W closes the active document, but not the program CTRL + X copies, then deletes selection CTRL + Y redo CTRL + Z
