In Cancer Care alone, donors fund special training for caregivers, so that they always have the most up-to-date knowledge. Donors purchase state-of-the-art equipment for optimal diagnosis and treatment of different cancers. Donors help us build warm, efficient facilities for the patient experience, and provide the information resources that help patients face their difficult journey with more confidence. Jennifer’s experience at NYGH is not unusual. It is part of a culture that exists across the Hospital. Our donors are also inspired by the spirit of compassion shown by our caregivers and the spirit of courage shown by our patients. That is why we are honoured to share their stories with you.
