'Beverly Lewis' the Reckoning' Cast Bios Katie ‘BEVERLY LEWIS’ THE RECKONING’ CAST BIOS KATIE LECLERC (Katie) – Katie Leclerc currently stars as Daphne Vasquez on the hit ABC family series “Switched At Birth.” In its fourth season, “Switched At Birth,” and Leclerc specifically, continue to drive a strong fan following and are respected and are applauded worldwide for their positive portrayal of deaf characters on television. Leclerc has been nominated for two Teen Choice Awards for her outstanding performance on the show. The first was in 2011 in the category of “Choice TV Break Out Star” and then again in 2013 in the category of “Summer TV Star.” Originally from Lakewood, Colorado and the youngest of three siblings, Leclerc got the acting bug when she starred in a local production of Annie. When the family moved to San Diego, she continued to pursue her desire to perform and began appearing in national commercials for such brands as Pepsi, Cingular, Comcast and GE. Leclerc got her big break at the age of 19 in 2004 when she was asked to guest star on “Veronica Mars,” starring Kristen Bell. She went on to have guest and recurring roles on such series as MTV’s “The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” CBS’s “CSI” and “The X List.” However, it is for portraying Raj Koothrappali’s gold-digging girlfriend Emily on the hit CBS series “The Big Bang Theory,” that brings her the most additional recognition. In film, she has starred in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “The Confession,” as well as the independent features “The Inner Circle” and “Flying By,” with Billy Ray Cyrus. Leclerc will also guest star this year on an upcoming episode of “Community.” Leclerc has Meniere’s disease, a disorder of the inner ear that can cause hearing loss and effect balance to a varying degree. She is fluent in American Sign Language to cope with her intermittent hearing loss, and has triumphed turning this into a positive by recently becoming the spokesperson for the Purple campaign. She is also heavily involved in the “Be Good To Each Other” bullying prevention campaign by custom designing a t-shirt to raise money to provide awareness and support. Leclerc also speaks publicly to the media about her own personal experience with the issue. Katie Leclerc is an avid cook, and was excited to appear last year on “The Chew,” where she went head to head with Mario Batali. She loves to spend time with her dogs, and is also an active outdoorsman, hiking, running camping and mountain biking. Currently, she lives in Los Angeles. ### JACOB BLAIR (Daniel) – Jacob Blair is a Canadian actor and writer who booked his first dra- matic role in 2007 when he appeared in the popular Sci-fi television series “Battlestar Galactica: Razor.” From there, he went on to appear in several television dramas, including (more) HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES / ‘BEVERLY LEWIS’ THE RECKONING’ – Cast Bios- Page 2 “Bionic Woman,” “The L Word” and “Fringe.” Blair landed his first major role on The CW’s “Aliens in America,“ playing the popular quarterback, Dan Archer, and continued booking large roles in feature films such as “Fear Island,” “Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball,” “Hot Tub Time Machine,” “The A-Team,” “Wrecked,“ “The Grey” and “Underworld: Awakening.” He has also appeared in the TV series “Suits,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Republic of Doyle” and “Rookie Blue.” Blair has had the opportunity to work with Black Walk Films on the 2014 TV series “Dark Rising: Warrior of Worlds” and Good Soldier Films in the 2015 feature films “Night Cries” and “Country Crush.” Most recently, Blair can be seen portraying the brash, charming and gun-slinging lead charac- ter, William Pinkerton, in the police procedural TV series “The Pinkertons.” He resides in Toron- to, Ontario. -- HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES -- .

If you believe the ballot initiative’s supporters, it’s because it has absolutely nothing to do with the state using tax dollars to pay for students to attend pri- vate schools. If you believe the opponents, it’s because it’s all a veiled effort to get private school vouchers approved and that if that succeeds in Florida, it will be attempted in more than 30 other states. Amen Are there any fans of the Big Bang Theory here. For those of you who don't watch it, The Big Bang Theory is a popular sit com following the exploits of a small group of young adult brainiac scientists and engineers living in Pasadena California. There are the roommates Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, both physicists; Penny, a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's equally geeky and socially awkward friends and co- workers, mechanical engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali. The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense. Although sometimes a tad predictable, I love the way this show has the characters coming to terms with each other's quirky weirdness. But the particular part of the show I want to talk about is the roommate agreement. Sheldon has welcomed Leonard into his apartment as a roommate, but he has this document, the roommate agreement that he has drafted to govern how they sort things out in the apartment. Sheldon is, well, set in his ways and resistant to change, surprise, unpredictability of any kind. The roommate agreement is intended to control what happens.
