The proposal was subject to a public consultation which took place between 16 December 2019 and 26 January 2020. In total, 235 people including three stakeholders responded to the consultation questionnaire. 18 per cent of the total responses we received were in favour of the changes, while 49 per cent said the changes were not necessary. 22 per cent of the total responses were suggestions, six per cent were about impact on people and the remaining five per cent consisted of other comments. Key issues raised were about potential congestion on Greenford Road, increased overcrowding and bus journey time, noise and air pollutions in the area, and longer walking distance for elderly people to the new bus stops. There were suggestions for an additional service to compliment the 92 in order to meet local demand and increasing its frequency. Next steps We have completed our analysis of the consultation replies and have decided to proceed with the scheme, taking into account the feedback we have received from members of the public and stakeholders. 3 1. Summary of consultation responses We received 235 responses to consultation. Chapter 3 on page 12 summarises further information about our respondents. We sometimes have to condense detailed responses into brief summaries. The full stakeholder responses are always used for analysis purposes. The key issues raised including those by the stakeholders can be found in Appendix A. 1.3.1 Local authorities & statutory bodies London Borough of Ealing The London Borough of Ealing responded to our consultation supporting our proposal to re-route the 92 in order to serve the new development. They expressed their willingness to work with us on any improvements to the carriageway or bus infrastructure that might be necessary to implement the changes we proposed. London Borough of Ealing - Cllr Amarjit Jammu Cllr Jammu responded by saying that she preferred the existing route. She stated that the changes were not necessary because the new development could be served by the existing bus stops nearby. 5 1.3.2 Local Interest Groups North Greenford Residents' Association North Greenford Residents' Association objected to the proposed changes to route 92. The Association stated that people living in the residential estate to the west of Currey Road would be disadvantaged by the loss of the two bus stops in Oldfield Lane North. They added that it would cause inconvenience to elderly and disabled residents accessing Greenford Baptist Church and Greenford Green Clinic. They made a suggestion to introduce a turning circle for route 92 at the eastern end of Berkeley Avenue to serve the new development instead. 2. About the consultation 2.1 Purpose The objectives of the consultation were: • To give stakeholders and the public easily understandable information about the proposals and allow them to respond • To understand the level of support or opposition for the change/s for the proposals • To understand any issues that might affect the proposal of which we were not previously aware of • To understand concerns and objections • To allow respondents to make suggestions 2.2 Potential outcomes The potential outcomes of the consultation were: • Following careful consideration of the consultation responses, we decide to proceed with the scheme as set out in the consultation • Following careful consideration of the consultation responses, we modify the proposals in response to issues raised and proceed with a revised scheme • Following careful consideration of the consultation responses, we decide not to proceed with the scheme Our conclusion and next steps are set out in section 4. 6 2.4 Who we consulted We consulted with local and pan-London stakeholders including local elected representatives. A full list of stakeholders can be found in Appendix E. We consulted with all the registered users of bus route 92. We also carried out a local letter drop, covering an area mostly affected by our proposal, asking local residents and businesses to have their say. 2.5 Dates and duration We ran the consultation for six weeks allowing adequate time for people to make their views on our proposal. The consultation opened on 16 December 2019 and closed on 26 January 2020. 2.6 What we asked We designed our questionnaire to understand how frequently people use this particularly bus route, whether our proposal will have an impact on their journey and to find out if they have any other concerns, comments or suggestions regarding our proposal. We also sought views on the overall quality of our consultation. The consultation questions can be found in Appendix B. 2.7 Methods of responding We made a number of channels available, through which people could respond to this consultation. It was possible for respondents to complete the

  • C2c Rail Limited's Accessible Travel Policy Approval Decision Letter And
Marcus Clements Head of Consumer Policy Rail Markets and Economics Email: 08 March 2021 Julian Drury Managing Director c2c By Email Dear Julian, Approval of Trenitalia c2c Limited’s (c2c’s) Accessible Travel Policy (Condition 5 of the Station Licence and GB Statement of National Regulatory Conditions: Passenger) Thank you for submitting c2c’s revised Accessible Travel Policy (ATP) for approval. We have reviewed the ATP against the September 2020 “Accessible Travel Policy Guidance for Train and Station Operators” (the guidance). I can confirm that c2c’s ATP now meets the requirements of Condition 5 of its station licence and GB Statement of National Regulatory Conditions: Passenger (SNRP). When I last wrote to you on 27 August 2020, confirming the approval of your previous ATP, I asked for further details of c2c’s disability awareness training package, and updates on progress towards meeting WCAG standards for website accessibility. This information has now been provided. I shall be grateful for ongoing updates on these two issues during the ATP Quarterly meetings we plan to hold throughout 2021. I also referred to the provision of assistance at stations where ticket office hours were reduced. We will continue to keep the provision of unbooked assistance under review to ensure that, when passenger numbers increase, waiting times remain within reasonable parameters. Please provide a branded version of all ATP documents by 5 April 2021. A copy of the approved ATP will then be published on our website along with a copy of this letter. As you are aware, ATPs must be reviewed by operators on an annual basis.
