    A RÖVIDPÁLYÁS GYORSKORCSOLYÁZÁS HAZAI TÖRTÉNETE Bevezetés A rövidpályás gyorskorcsolyázás, közismert megnevezéssel a short track első hivatalos világ- bajnokságát 1978-ban rendezték az angliai Solihullban, majd 1988-ban Calgaryban, a Téli Olimpiai Játékokon szerepelt bemutató versenyszámként. A következő olimpián, 1992-ben: Albertville-ben már teljes jogú sportágként szerepelt az olimpiai programban, s ahol már magyar versenyzők (Kaszala Tamara és Kun Bálint Tibor) is rajthoz álltak. Azonban micsoda fejlődésen ment keresztül ez a sportág. Hiszen, ha a sportág első világbajnokságán az 500 méteres döntő eredményeit és a 2016. évi világbajnokság döntőjét összehasonlítjuk, akkor láthatóvá válik ez az óriási fejlődés: 1978 2016 1. Idehaza 1985-től számoljuk a short track-es "időszámítást", amikor a Magyar Jégsport Szövetség megbízta Martos Györgyöt, a legsikeresebb és legered- ményesebb volt nagypályás gyorskorcsolyázót - tizenötszörös magyar bajnokunkat - az új szakág megszervezésével. Ezek után a rövidpályás gyorskorcsolyázás hazai fejlődését ugyancsak "szenzációs"-nak kell titulálnunk a nemzetközi short track élethez viszonyítva. Hiszen a semmiből született meg az új szakág, először a budapesti iskolás-sportra építve, majd egyre jobban bevonva a vidék dinamikusan fejlődő korcsolyasportját. Vagyis Martos György a volt nagypályás gyorskorcsolyázókkal karöltve kitűnő munkát végzett. Magyar Bajnokságot a rövidpályás gyorskorcsolyázásban csak 1989-ben bonyolították le először, mert ezt megelőzően bár 1986-tól több verseny volt, de ezek közül egyik sem volt a sportág bajnoksága.

L’importante appuntamento di Cavalese chiude la stagione 2011/2012 del curling italiano: una stagione ricca di soddisfazioni, con l’argento conquistato ad Innsbruck alle Olimpiadi Invernali Giovanili e la qualificazione, seguita dalla partecipazione, ai Campionati del Mondo nelle diverse specialità. Una stagione che dimostra le potenzialità di questa affascinante disciplina dentro e fuori i confini nazionali e la crescita che potrà avere nelle prossime stagioni. The World Wheelchair Curling Qualification 2010 at the Kisakallio Sport Institute in Lohja, Finland, is the first milestone on the road towards the 2014 games in Sochi. From here two teams will gain entry to the 2011 POHJOIS-KARJALAN SAIRAANHOITO- JA World Wheelchair Curling Championship next February in Prague and the possibility SOSIAALIPALVELUJEN of qualification points for the next winter Paralympics in Russia. La strada per arrivare al termine di questa stagione è stata lunga e tutto lo staff che ha partecipato alla programmazione completa il primo importante passo di un nuovo percorso che vuole portare il curling oltre i tradizionali confini delle Alpi. La maggior visibilità verso il Wheelchair vuole significare un’integrazione totale in uno sport dove tutti possono trovare uno spazio di autoaffermazione valorizzando così le proprie potenzialità. Un doveroso ringraziamento alla comunità di Ussita e Visso per la loro fattiva collaborazione sotto l’attenta regia del Delegato regionale FISG Ivan Liberati.
