Mark NeJame was born in Orlando, Florida. He received both his Bachelor's Degree and law degree from the University of Florida and graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida. He routinely practices in both State and Federal courts, having practiced in multiple district courts throughout the country and in approximately a dozen different states.

Mark had primarily devoted his career to the practice of criminal defense but has expanded his practice over the years. In addition to a criminal defense division, his firm also has immigration, business/commercial and personal injury divisions. Being the Founder and Senior Partner of NeJame, LaFay, Jancha, Ahmed, Barker, Joshi and Moreno, P.A., Mark routinely takes on significant and high profile cases and clients, which are frequently in the media and the public eye. In addition to CNN and HLN shows such as Headline News, CNN Newsroom, Situation Room with , Out Front, Piers Morgan Tonight, 360, Issues with Jane Velez‐Mitchell, Nancy Grace, Joy Behar and Dr. Drew, Mark has appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Inside Edition, Studio B with Shepard Smith, , Court/Tru Tv, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation, The Dr. Phil Show as well as many other ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox national and local news segments and outlets.

Mark is also under contract with CNN as a CNN and HLN Legal Commentator. He appears regularly on both networks and provides legal analysis and commentary on many of the days leading court cases. He is also a writer and contributor to CNN.com.

He is AV rated, listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys and recognized among the Florida Trend’s Legal Elite. He is routinely listed in “Orlando’s 50 Most Powerful” and has been the subject of numerous magazine and newspaper articles, being referred to as “Orlando’s Own Johnny Cochran”, “Defender is a Contender” and the “Voice for the Voiceless”.

Although most of his clients are regular people who are in need of help, Mark routinely handles high profile clients and cases. Mark has handled innumerable high profile cases and clients involving lawyers, judges, professionals, celebrities, athletes, politicians, law enforcement officials and renowned business people. Some of his high profile cases and clients include; Tiger Woods during his challenges of a couple of years ago, Casey Anthony’s parents George and Cindy Anthony before he terminated representation of them, Dale Smith the primary suspect of the missing Central Florida mother, suing and collecting from NBA legend Charles Barkley, Palestinian International Drive business mogul Jesse Maali and music mogul Lou Pearlman founder of Back Street Boys and ‘N Sync.

Mark’s team recently won an $880,000 verdict against an Orlando Police Officer for breaking the neck of an 84 year old war veteran and they are currently representing the family and fiancé of Andrew Scott an innocent man who was shot and killed by the Lake County Sheriff’s office when they went to the wrong home and mistook his identity. Mark was contacted by George Zimmerman to represent him in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. He refused to accept the case.
