This series is arranged alphabetically by folder title and then chronologically within each folder. Newspaper clippings and press releases make up most of this series. The majority of the newspaper clippings cover Napier's political campaigns and his one term in the United States House of Representatives. However, a number of the articles also concern the Democratic incumbent, John Jenrette, and his involvement in ABSCAM. In addition, some Congressional Record inserts, speeches and statements made by Congressman John Napier, as well as his voting record, can be found in this series. Numerous videotapes and a few audiotapes of Napier being interviewed on various subjects are also part of the series. Among these tapes are two audio and one video concerning debates between John Napier and John Jenrette during the 1980 campaign.
