Due to high precipitation in April, the inflow forecast for has been increased to 169 percent of normal. Therefore, releases from all reservoirs are very high. Changes in releases will be made as forecasts change. at The flow of the Colorado River for the first part of May is 30,000 cfs. The snowmelt forecast is 165 percent of normal. including the Green River The flow of the Colorado River through the Canyon is 54,000 cfs. The snowmelt forecast is 169 percent of normal. Lake Powell Lake Powell is at elevation 3,684 feet. It is expected to fill to 3,700 feet by July. Colorado River through Releases from for April are being increased to 40,000 cfs with no fluctuations. Upper Green River - Fontenelle Reservoir Fontenelle Reservoir elevation is 6,442 feet. Present releases of 5,000 cfs will increase as the inflow from snowmelt increases. The forecast for snowmelt runoff is 155 percent of normal. Since inflow will exceed outflow, a limited amount of water will be stor~d in the reservoir. Green River Flows below Flaming Gorge is now at elevation 6,019 feet, and is expected to reach full elevation of 6.040 feet by this summer. Releases from the dam are expected to be 5,700 cfs with no fluctuations this spring, and 1,700 cfs in August and September. Page 2

Green River at Green River, Utah Green River flows are at 24,000 cfs. The May spring forecast is 165 percent of normal. San Juan River Current releases from of 1,200 cfs will be maintained for several weeks. The flow of the San Juan River at Bluff is 7,000 cfs. The reservoir is now at elevation 6,066 feet and is expected to reach 6,084 feet by this summer. The runoff forecast is 137 percent of normal. - McPhee Reservoir

The ~~Y 1 runoff forecast is 123 percent of normal. From May through June, weekly press releases on rafting flows on the Dolores River will be issued. The re1eases wiil be issued by tne Bureau of Reclamation each Monday and will cover the period from the following Thursday to the next Thursday.
