2015 NEW PRODUCTS SUPPLEMENTAL HOWE IMPALA REPLACEMENT FRAME PART NO. 358-09 The Howe fabricated replacement frame is made to replace the popular 77 Impala / Caprice • Fits OEM Lower A-frame GM OEM frame. This frame along with the 68-72 Chevelle had become standards • Fits OEM Dimension Idler Arm for the modified classes. As older Chevelles disappeared the Impala gained • GM Stock Steering Box Mounts popularity. Eventually Impala frames also became scarce, expensive, and in • Accepts Original Style Sway Bar deteriorating condition. With thousands of modifieds racing around the country using this frame there are many existing bolt on OEM and aftermarket components made specifically to fit it. Producing a fabricated frame eliminates the shortage and saves time and cost without making existing bolt on parts obsolete. Consider the following benefits: • Common Bumper Mounts Cost - The fabricated frame sells for slightly less than a reworked OEM frame, if you can • Built in Ballast Mounts find one. A surviving stock frame that is not crashed or rusted out must be sandblasted, • Slotted A-frame Mounts stripped, straightened and modified to be ready to install. The fabricated frame installs faster • Accepts Existing Nerf Bars lowering the labor cost of both new cars and repairs. 86 LBS. Compatibility - Fits all existing components including lower a-frames, spindles, steering and springs. Frame rails are made long enough to fit existing nerf bars. Weight - The weight difference is addressed by providing integral ballast mounts to equalize any weight advantage during a transition from factory to fabricated frames. The new Howe frame is 86 lbs.

Chevy camaro wikipedia The fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro is a pony car that was produced by American automobile manufacturer General Motors for the through model years. The Camaro was revised in with both exterior and engine changes. The fourth generation of the Camaro was introduced in January , as a model. The new design incorporated sheet moulding compound SMC made from chopped fiberglass and polyester resin for the roof, hatch, doors, and spoiler. The 4-speed 4L60 automatic transmission was optional. All models came with a red Chevrolet Bowtie on the grille. The high performance Z28 model came with rectangular dual exhaust tips to distinguish it from the base models. The Z28 featured the 5. The V8 engine came standard with a 4L60 automatic transmission, although the Borg-Warner T56 six-speed manual transmission was a no cost option. In , the Camaro Z28 was selected as the official pace car for the Indianapolis A special "pace car edition" trim was introduced in the same year and featured "Indy " lettering on black and white body color scheme with multicolored pinstriping and white painted wheels. Several changes were made for the model year. The mechanically controlled and operated 4L60 automatic transmission was replaced with the electronically operated and controlled 4L60E, which was shared with other GM vehicles with V8s, such as the Tahoe. Accordingly, the car's on-board computer was modified from dealing only with the engine as in ECM , to controlling both the engine and transmission on automatic models PCM. The computer in was run via Speed Density system, which measured engine speed RPM and load MAP in kPa to compute airflow requirements and then use that against the VE Volumetric Efficiency table to get the proper readings in order to warn the driver about refuelling.
