He has served as principal guest conductor with the Asheville Lyric Opera Company since 2004. He is Music Director Laureate of the Harrisburg Choral Society & Orchestra and the York Symphony Orchestra & Chorus in Pennsylvania, and is conductor laureate of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra. His broad repertory of classical symphonic, opera, choral and ballet scores are complemented by his skills as a Pops conductor, and he has received critical praise on the podium here and abroad in all genres. His work the York Symphony Association has earned two awards from the League of American Orchestras (Student Song Contest in 2003 and Saturday Morning Symphony in 2005). His DVD of the St. Louis Philharmonic Holiday Spectacular won the national Telly Award in 2004 for best classical local cable TV production. In December 2007, his holiday video with the Kirkwood Children's Chorale was in the finals of NBC's nationally-televised competition Clash Of The Choirs.

Den er på grunn av antallet sider i fire deler og handler om 41 år med Vestfold Symfoniorkester 1966-2007. Rapport 1 var om Sandefjord Orkesterforening. Kontinuitet Historien om orkestermusikerne i Vestfold er gammel, tilbake til kurbadet og militærmusikkens tid. Siden jeg flyttet til Vestfold i 1995, hundre år etter kurbadets tid, har jeg deltatt i Vestfold Symfoniorkesteret som bratsjist. Jeg var formann i perioden 98-01 og fikk et nært bilde av hva som kreves både musikalsk og administrativt. Det viktigste jeg forsto var at det lå en historie bak orkesteret og at stafettpinnen skal videreføres. Det er i mine øyne derfor unaturlig i 2006 å feire 40 år med Vestfold Symfoniorkester, fordi det i Vestfold er en sammenhengende 100 års tradisjon for utøvende orkestermusikk. Mellom 1930 og 1960, i forkant av Vestfold Symfoniorkester, hadde Larvik, Sandefjord, Tønsberg, Horten og Holmestrand egne orkesterforeninger i full virksomhet. Hvem er musikerne Mitt opprinnelige ønske var å få vite noe om orkestermusikk i Vestfold generelt og om musikere knyttet til de enkelte byene spesielt.
